The bolts on my 2019 RAM 1500 also rotted and snapped. They did not have nuts on them from the factory. Dealer service advisor says flange was re-threaded and nuts are not required. He also said he sees this all the time. Wondering if it is worth it to replace the bolts they put in with...
I adjusted the passenger side striker bolt by moving it backwards slightly and now mine closes every time, either by hand or with the remote. You can loosen the striker bolt with a Torx 40 bit and a socket wrench.
The saga continues. Ac actuator in the new heat box that was installed as part of the TSB is broken which is why it will only blow hot air on the passenger side. Sounds like they are going to have to take the dash out and put a new heat box in - again.
Well I went and picked up my truck today after they applied the TSB. The AC on the driver side is working but not very cold. The passenger side blows hot air when on AC. Complete opposite of what it is supposed to do. I also just found the dreaded rear window leak. Ugh
I have the same issue. Dealer is trying to blame the Tonneau cover. I explained that even with the Tonneau cover folded back and not on top of the tailgate it is still sticking.
Dropped my truck off a week ago at the dealer for this fix. Spoke to the dealer today and they have applied the fix with all the new TSB parts, put the interior back together (dash does have to come out), and it still does not work properly according to the dealer. Taking too long to cool down...
I have a 2019 RAM 1500 Limited with the V8 Hemi gas motor. Where is the fuel filter located and how often does it need to be replaced? I cannot seem to locate any info on it. Thanks
And the saga continues. Still waiting for the dealer to install the 3rd radio and now my A/C will only blow 63 degrees at the coolest (measured at the drivers and passenger vents).
Update: RAM replaced the radio and it lasted about 2 weeks. The new radio is now dead. Dealer is going to have to order yet another 12" Uconnect and again I will be without my truck for days. So disappointed in this truck.
I wanted to share my experience with other users and potential buyers. I have had my 2019 RAM 1500 Limited since last year and it has 19k miles on it. To date I have had to have numerous repairs on the truck. The latest repair was completed today where the radio was replaced. All in all I have...
