Sold it! :( or is it :) lol
I’ve been wanting to go back to a mid-size truck for a long time. I only went to a full size in early 2000 because my kids were out of car seats and needed more room. Fast forward to today, my wife’s SUV can handle any long trips for the next maybe 6 months as my...
I just seen a commercial that Sirius / XM is free through Dec. 3rd everywhere if you have a receiver.
So if you’re past your free trial or have another vehicle or receiver without a subscription, enjoy.
I didn’t renew after my one year free trial on my Ram as I just don’t use it enough to...
To confirm what @CaptainCJ35 wrote, go over a bump that you know will make a chirp and lightly, and I mean lightly apply the brakes. If there is no chirp, then it is the anti-rattle clip. What is happening is that your brake pad floats on top of the anti-rattle clip. When pressure is applied...
Definitely do the alignment. Too cheap to not IMO to protect your investment. A friend of mine and I installed my RL kit. After install, I had it aligned, it wasn’t off much but I’m glad I did it as I had new tires installed the next day.
I would double check that 2 Ohm idea. Someone posted on here a couple weeks ago that they metered their Alpine Speaker and it came to just just under 4 ohms.
That sucks. Feel for ya. Other than a brake chirp and the backup groan in the mornings, I guess I got a good one. Lol. All 3 gens I’ve owned have had quirks, I guess I just got use to them.
Very true but some do hang around. I’ve seen quite a few posts already about what people received for their sale / trade here. Unfortunately most were out of frustration to move on from an unresolved issue. :(
Where the number comes from is market demand. If people post what they received, others will have a better understanding of what they may get for their trade or sale and can help people make decisions if they want to make a move to another vehicle.
And original MSRP gives others an idea about how your truck may be equipped. There are $40k Big Horns and then there are $60k Big Horns. At least if we know the starting MSRP, we can understand why someone received X vs another.
Feel for you. CC gave me the same resolution as you with my chirping brake pads. I’ve fixed them myself and will continue to fix them myself as they start to make noise with a little dab of grease. That however pales in comparison to your issue. They need to replace your whole infotainment /...
We have other threads about what people paid for their 5th Gens. so I thought I would start a thread about how much people received in trade or sale of their 5th gens. as I've seen many posts about people moving on here already.
This may seem like an odd thread since people are still buying new...
Understood but it’s 6 weeks old. Where does he find a truck similar equipped and 6 weeks old that he could buy for their declared value? It’s impossible and I’d argue that for leverage to get that number up. You can cite rules, laws, parameters, policy, etc. but there is the common sense...
I would tell their insurance company that they are more than welcomed to find you an exact replacement vehicle at that price and deliver it to you. You already know you cannot find an exact replacement with that offer.
This is a negotiation now, they’ll low ball to begin. Just keep the pressure...
My 14 Ram had the larger tank. My 19 has the smaller tank. It has not changed my driving whatsoever. FWIW, I average 10-12k miles per year.
However ;) You’re spending a lot of money, get what makes you completely happy.
This was a known issue with the 4th gen. as well. My 4th gen did it, fortunately my 5th does not. I wouldn’t waste your time at the dealer with it, you’ll get frustrated. Call it a feature. ;)
Mine did this just the other day. The culprit was the stem of a leaf caught between the bottom of the tailgate and the bed. I couldn’t believe just a stem would do that so yeah, tolerances are tight there. Anyways, check for any debris first before making adjustments.
