The noise or chirp is coming from the brake pad free floating on the anti-rattle clip. With light pressure applied, the play or float is eliminated so no noise. You'll also notice if you hit a few bumps, when you press the brake, you'll get a quick chirp, moving the pad.
I can't tell you how...
My 96 Ram did this....or Dodge should I say. Left me a little frustrated once. :(
One thing I'll say about Rams, they're good trucks but they have their nuances when it comes to design, both good and odd.
I have the 2" level on my ORG. I have about 3/4" higher in the rear than the front. Perfect for my situation as I tow about 3k lbs boat regularly. Now you may be thinking, I'm not going to tow and you want perfect level.....don't do it! At a 3/4" difference, it looks damn level but the tape...
It's not different. The off road group, mechanically, gives you the same thing as the rebel. The bumper / fascia is different and there is no active air dam on the rebel. As Utah mentioned, the Rebel comes with a 1" taller tire. There forward, it's all styling.
Have you tired another USB stick? or even covering the USB with a couple layers of electrical tape. Some electronics can get bleed through them. When I was a kid, I made an AM radio that when attached to the TV antenna I could pick up a station....and the kicker, it was not powered! No AC, no...
Nothing wrong with KO2's. I get about 40k out of them as compared to 25k from the typical stock tire you get from the factory. I consider myself hard on tires, it's just a driving and turning style and also the type of roads you travel.
I pondered the Nittos but my last 2 trucks had KO2's and...
I honestly couldn't tell you. Half of the miles on my truck are with towing a boat that is around 3k lbs. and my other miles are running to WaWa to get a coffee. ;).
You can see my setup in my sig but I've found 46psi to be the perfect pressure for KO2's and a RL level on an off road package truck. I'm a stickler for finding the perfect "spot" and have been through the different pressure tests, chalk included.
Take notice if it squeaks under slight brake pedal pressure. If it doesn't, then it's the brakes.
I'll be going in this Friday for round 3 of my brake squeak saga. ;). First time they greased the anti-rattle clips. That lasted for a hundred miles. 2nd time they installed an updated pads that...
That is where I place my E-ZPass. I know, you're suppose to put it on the windshield but I just haven't gotten around to getting a replacement sticker for the now really old E-ZPass unit. ;)
Visit your local pet store or Amazon and get Nature's Miracle Advanced. Note the "Advanced" it is much stronger than the regular Nature's Miracle. Spray the area affected and if milk drained into unreachable places, spray alot so the liquid gets as far as the milk did.
Nature's Miracle Advanced...
Bass blockers are for blocking lower frequencies when a full frequency signal is sent to a speaker. In the case of the Alpine or HK system, only a range of frequencies (high) are sent to those speakers so there is no need for a blocker. If you installed it anyways, it would not hurt but there is...
This has been discussed on this forum before. Limited version have dimming on both sides....not sure about Laramie but Big Horns have dimming on just the driver's side.
I've always liked chrome until this truck. This one, it had to be a solid color and then I went with black. Wheels followed but I went with a 2 tone wheel if you will, black with satin spokes. Had to tie in the chrome logos with the wheels.
Next truck, who knows!
I sold my original tires and used my sensors for my new wheels. There will come a day when I trade the truck in so I want to have have the original wheels ready to go. Of course I'm going to buy some cheap used tires from Craigslist ;) but I'll need the sensors. Anyone have a good source...
