I'm an avid user of Rain-x on all my vehicles. However, its annoying to have to apply every month or two and after years of applications you'd think I'd be better than I am at it. I'd love to find an alternative that lasts longer. I've done a little searching and it looks like ceramic coating...

Had some vinyl applied to the wheel wells to cover up the painted area that the car wash never gets clean. 🤣 first world problems I know.

Another small update, although the soft reset wounds like it should solve these issues we’re having… my CarPlay came back to normal after yet another night of rest. My guess is that the soft reset mentioned above is the best method to expedite this process though I’m too afraid to test it out...

Like the title says, do I need to use the FOB in order to unlock the rear doors? I regularly approach the truck and want to load things into the back seat before getting in the drivers seat. It’s my understanding that opening the drivers door via passive entry should unlock all four doors, but...

UPDATE: mine ended up working the morning after I posted last. It worked up until this morning when I left the truck running while I walked my kids into day care. When I came back out it wouldn’t reconnect. Restarted the truck and still wouldn’t connect to CarPlay. Unpaired/forgot the device...

I debated between the two trims a couple months ago and ultimately went with the Laramie. The main thing drawing me to the limited was the front end look and the headlights. However, after test driving one (unpopular opinion coming) i didn't much care for the look/feel of the interior wood...

I plan to address it at some point. Just need to decide whether I’ll apply film, spray it, or replace it altogether.
