BDS ball joint gives way... What a mess.

Are the moog ball joints that are breaking the ones with the small rubber boot. Looking at MAJ_Charlies photo it looks like the ball joint broke where the boot stops.

    ICON or ORP springs

Thanks for the reply. 1.5 is too much for me w non orp. Looks like I'll just grab some orp springs. @MadMater' you would happen to live somewhere in mn and selling your orp rear springs would you? Lol

    ICON or ORP springs

I'm looking for rear springs to lift the rear .5" to 1". How much lift did you get from the ICON's. My truck is sitting completely level and I can't stand it.

    Updated 2" Mopar Lift/Level Kit - Discussion

I added a wulf 1.5" spacer and Rough Countrys forged UCA's for 3.5" lifts to my mopar 2". Ride is good. A lot smoother riding than it was with just the mopar lift for some reason. My tires were rubbing on the uca a bit, but I added wheel spacers which fixed that.

How to level with Mopar lift?

I wouldn't recommend keeping the Mopar UCA's with the 1.5" spacer added. The travel isn't there and they're still made of plastic. I could see that thing snapping around the ball joint area especially with bigger tires. That's why I bought the rough country UCA's. Going this route ends up...

How to level with Mopar lift?

Here's the link to the Wulf 1.5" spacers. They're for the 13-18 rams but they still fit and do actually lift 1.5". https://wulfsuspensions.com/collections/dodge-ram/products/1-5-front-strut-spacer-leveling-lift-kit-for-2013-2018-dodge-ram-1500-4wd Tires are 295/60/20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers.

How to level with Mopar lift?

I added a wulf 1.5" top spacer and Rough countrys forged upper control arms to my mopar 2" lift. Leveled it out and rides a lot smoother than before. Also found out that my tires were rubbing the UCA's when I went to install wheel spacers. Wheel spacer fixed that.

Readylift 2” Level & UCA Issue

I have a 19 and my studs don't stick out like that and I have the wolf 1.5" spacer which is slightly shorter than RL. Picture courtesy of Tony the truck guy on YouTube. I also checked the driver side before installing and the studs were slightly shorter (almost flush) with the top of the wolf...

    Mopar 2" + 2" level and UCA's

It actually rides smoother/softer. After installing the Mopar lift i was kinda disappointed in how stiff it was initially. After a year it softened up a bit, but it was still stiff. After making these mods it seems to be riding a lot smoother. I'm thinking its because of the RC UCA's. Maybe...

    Mopar 2" + 2" level and UCA's

Answered my own question. Updating this thread incase anyone is curious. I added Wulf 1.5" strut spacer and Rough Countrys forged UCA for 3-3.5" lifts. I think the top spacer is a better option than the ORP springs everyones been doing and its a little cheaper. Also wanted to mention that...

1500 Laramie Sport, ORP, need 6'8" clearance

I attempted to enter a parking garage with a 6'9" clearance and probably only had a couple mm to the glass of my sunroof diving under the clearance marker. I backed out. Specs in the signature. At 6'8" I would probably leave it stock. 33" tires at the most

    Mopar 2" + 2" level and UCA's

Sorry if this has been asked/answered before. Please attach a link if you have one. Some of the posts are 50+ pages long and I wasn't able to find an answer. I currently have the Mopar 2 inch lift on my non ORP truck with 295/60/R20 (34 inches) nitto ridge grapplers on 20x9 +18's. Front...

    Ridge Grapplers in snow

Yup, that's my opinion on the RG's lol. I've been using duellers every winter for a while now and I actually think they do pretty good in the snow and ice. I just can't get over how good the RG's look.

    Ridge Grapplers in snow

For me, they are a step down in terms of winter traction compared to the stock Bridgestone Duellers, but they are decent in snow. Doable. You just have to adjust to how they ride in the winter. Running them at 35 psi right now because they were terrible in the snow at 45 psi.
