Thank you!!! Like many others, I’ve been hunting this rattle for a long time and ran out of things to check or tighten. Puzzling that it seemed worse when cold… My bushings looked perfectly fine but sure enough, put these poly ones in and the rattle is gone. Seriously, thank you for tracking...
Back to the original topic- I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the towing power in my 2020, 5.7 e-torque with 3.92 gears. I live in western PA and pull my 33’ (tip to tail) down to Myrtle every year through WV. On this trip I average 8 mpg overall but mileage is tremendously better once I’m out...
I installed these in my 2020 and realized after they didn’t work that I wired them wrong. When I was replacing the pins in the harness connector, the diagram was showing the connector from the wire side and I inadvertently was looking at it from the plug side. Pretty embarrassing but was an easy...
We are having light but steady rain this afternoon. Just got in the truck and happened to glance at the back seat. Leaking again. Or still leaking. It’s a 2020 but I’m at 41,500 miles. These warranty (and now out of warranty) issues are really getting old.
Mine are chipping off in the same way. It seems like a design flaw, the corner is too sharp. The paint chips off from regular use. Anyone have luck with touch up paint? I’m at 37k miles… (2020 silver Rebel)
The tank and filler neck replacement seemed to fix my troubles, 4different gas station fill ups and all filled the tank without stopping early. For the first time in 2 years I put in 20 gallons.
I crawled under two other trucks while dropping mine off. The heat shield is supposed to be under the tank strap too. I’m guessing they reinstalled the tank, then connected the house (around the outside of the tank strap, then put the shield on before the skid plate. No wonder holes didn’t line...
I picked my truck up today and crawled under to see the new tank. Glad I did, this line is clearly not run correctly and is not secured. It also looks like they couldn’t fit the heat shield on right since the fuel line was in the way so they didn’t put the third fastener in. Taking it back tonight
Looks like the leak is at the shark fin base again. They had a hard time reproducing the leak. They ordered a new antenna and gasket. Hopefully this will be the last time.
They are replacing my tank and filler tube as well, under warranty, due to “obstruction”. No luck on upsizing the tank. I think maybe because it would change the payload making the load sticker inaccurate. The tank is 3 days out, hopefully that holds true.
Well, mine is leaking again. I think it was dry for about a year, or at least I didn’t notice in about that long. I’m running out of warranty for these repeat fixes…
I’m having the same issue with my 2020. Just got back from a 1300 mile trip with the camper. Had to stop every 2 hours since I was operating with only 3/4 of the tiny 23 gallon tank. My biggest fill was 17 gallons… at least I got to get out and stretch a lot along the way. I had though it was a...
When I bought mine we spent the Sunday before looking at at least 12 different Rebels on 9 or 10 lots (slim pickings in June of 2020). We noticed they all had red “metallic” trim and rebel cluster (regardless of red or black interior) except the ones that had premium leather seats- those all had...
