Got my second oil report. This was my third change, I forgot to grab a sample when draining the oil for my second change.
Interesting that they now attribute the aluminum to the intercooler, I know that's been a running theory but now they seem to be confident that is coming from that. Still...

As shown above, the manual states the Eco doesnt have a break in period. But I believe it states else where to drive 500 miles before towing for other parts in the driveline to break in.
Personally I still believe you should take it easy for the first 500 miles or so, and change the oil early...

Personally I think 4th look terrible, wouldnt ever own one. The 5th gen's are my favorite looking truck by far.
Personally not a fan of the all digital clusters. Much prefer the current mix of Analog with digital info. Glad I got a 22 before this change was made.
Im sure if a floored it from every light, Id get close to that. I drive almost exclusively back roads/city roads with plenty of lights, I avg between 24-25.
I got a Docs Diesel filter the other day, only took a few days to show up. Rated at 25 microns.
Stopped into the local dealer last week and they didnt have any filters and still dont, they said they found one and ordered it but havent called me back yet.
Dude what the hell. Have you bothered to ask this guy what the hell he was doing with your truck? Any oil pressure CEL would have me absolutely losing my ****...this is "your break it you buy it" territory.

Not bad. Did it on the floor with jack/jack stands. Was able to sit up underneath it lol. Not used to that much room while working underneath something.
But overall it was pretty straight forward, it took alittle longer than expected but with the instructions and YouTube video instructions...
