  • Hello RamCares I have a 2019 Big Horn 1500 with 56000 miles. 5.7 Hemi. I discovered multiple leaks in the rear glass took it to the dealership and was told there are several cracks in the frame. I asked about the TSB on it and was told by the service writer that my truck wasn't covered. How can this not be covered as its a known defect?

    I’d go to another dealership WITH the TSB. My daughter got it covered. Be aware, there’s 2 TSBs that are similar.
    Hello RamCares I have a 2019 Laramie 1500 with 82000 miles. 5.7 Hemi. I discovered a leak in the rear glass took it to the dealership and was told there are several cracks in the frame. I asked about the TSB on it and was told by the service writer that my truck wasn't covered. Is there a link where I put in my vin number to check all related TSBs?

    2022 1500 Limited 40k miles, wont shift into 4x4, lights on dash work, but wont move off 2wd and truck does not engage in 4x4... Get the error message attached.. Is this a software issue?

    Hello @RamCares I have a 2020 1500 limited with 22,000 miles and my leather dash has started bubbling up . So I took it to my dealer Sansone RAM in NJ and they said my extended bumper to bumper warranty will not cover the repair which is $2300. They told me to reach out to RAM cares and if they ok it they will do the repair, please help , I can't afford that steep repair cost.

    Hi,
    My 2020 1500 BTS Ram (70,000 miles) has lost some of the steering wheel controls. the left front and back controls, no way to control the radio or the on screen menu. Also the right volume will not function, cruise control works and the horn works.
    The switches were replaced (left and right) and the clock spring, still nothing. is there a testing procedure I can perform?

    I have a 2023 RAM 1500 Limited with the 12” UConnect 5. Almost every time while using Apple CarPlay (wirelessly) the interface (Apple CarPlay)will freeze up, sometimes the phone will disconnect, or the entire system will freeze up. I looked on UConnect and my VIN is apparently up to date. Do you have any idea on how to fix this? I’ve also factory reset the radio 3 or 4 times now.
    2022 Laramie 21k miles and under warranty. Transmission gets stuck in 3rd gear and engine revs up with check engine light on. Last time palmer dodge in georgia just cleared the code and told me to lookout for it again. Well now it is back again. Any ideas? hopefully they will take care of it. I love my truck but disappointed. Specially at 21k.

    Palmer dodge in Roswell, Ga said it will be a week and half before they can even look at it because their transmission guy is out for that long?? I need to get back home before then at my job.
    Have a 2019 ram 2500 Still in warranty.
    While I was driving I lost all power train. After the dealer said the warranty would cover, they diagnosed the issue, that there was a crack in the transfer case extension housing that eventually gave way. they are saying that since the vehicle was in an accident (front damage) they won’t warranty the repair.
    Frustrated that they are blaming an issue unrelated to an accident.

    Why do you think that would be unrelated to the front end crash? Were any of the front axle control arms bent/replaced? If yes then the front end crash directly caused the damage to the t-case when the axle was pushed back which then forced the driveshaft back into the t-case.
    I have a 2022 Ram 1500 Larame 12" screen. I recently started to get the message "satellite hardware error" I reboot the radio and then it works but after the truck is shutoff like over night the message comes back. Any ideas? This is getting irritating.

    Dealer installed TSB for power steering "grinding" noise on a slow turn -- and charged almost $200 for it (Slightly discounted from 1 hour of diagnosis, even though the ride to show the symptom took 15 minutes and I told them about the TSB.) Is that proper customer service? Should have been no charge.
    Hello Ram Cares, I have a 2021 Big horn Quad cab with a rear window leak confirmed by my local dealership. The vehicle is under 36k miles and 36 months but the dealer is stating that the window is only covered under a 12/ 12 k warranty. Are you able to assist in this situation?

    Tell your dealer that it's not the glass, itself, that is leaking, but the seal. Almost everyone who has had the leak under the bumper to bumper warranty has had it replaced, no questions asked
    Coming up on my end of warranty. just got the rear window leak. looks like its coming from the trim area on top, both sides. Seems like I'm getting pushed off now, pretty sure the guy said there is no fix for what i described. He ordered the third brake light that's on back order. I have a feeling this will go on past my warranty, shouldn't I be covered since the problem started before it ended?
    Just bought a 2024 Ram 2500 Power Wagon. The truck has about 900 miles on it and noticed/ and measured that its sitting 1 inch lower on the drivers side than the passengers side. I have less than a 1/4 tank of fuel. It's very noticeable. Can I have help on why this is. It's never been off road. [email protected] is my email address. Thanks

    @RamCares is absolutely useless now. Apparently they outsourced to a new media company and you cant even get someone with any type of vehicle knowledge to talk to.
    Ive been dealing with my destroyed, peeling dashboard on my 2019 Limited for 2 years and absolutely nothing. the entire dash has delaminated... I find it ridiculous that a vehicle that is only 4 1/2 years old has had this many issues.

    Hello, new 2024 1500, 1m old, 2200 on it now, 5.7 ETorque, A S S never kicked in, always says "not ready" on the dash. No errors, no codes, any ideas?

    RamCares doesn't care. I PM'd about my new 2023 Ram 1500 Limited being unusable at the dealer for 6 weeks (no loaner), an unworkable situation for me having a newborn at home. No response for over three weeks! As a first time RAM owner, Chrysler's customer service has been extremely poor. Case managers that don't respond beyond the first phone call. I can't get a hold of any US-based Chrysler employee who cares.

    I was able to live chat with RamCares through the Mopar owners website when my truck was at the dealer. If you are just looking for an immediate response, might try that.

    I'd like to buy the chrome inserts for 4 door handles and tailgate latch on my 21 ram crew cab. I can't find where you can just buy the inserts? I don't want to replace all the handles/ latch. It appears that those inserts are just stuck in handle with glue. Seems like you should be able to get those from the oem without buying the whole thing. Any help is appreciated.

    I have a 2019 1500 rear window leak. Took it in to dealer , they claimed it was the third brake light seal,replaced it but no luck.......still leaks when heavy rain. What's the deal ?

    Might be the back glass. My 19' Ram Rebel with less than 60k miles is currently having the same issue, dealership quoted me roughly $1,700 to replace the back glass and suggest I contact FCA, which denied my request to be covered or reimbursed. I did manage to have them escalate the issue for further evaluation but I am not confident it will be covered. @RamCares

    I am also having to have both exhaust manifolds replaced due to cracks. Two years ago, the fuel injectors were all replaced due to issues. Why can't a manufacturer produce a decent quality truck. @RamCares

    I am reaching out about an issue with my 2020 1500 Limited.

    This problem started in January. The engine would shut off and the truck would go into park.

    The problem resurfaced about 1 month ago. I would like to change the RF Module. The dealership is quoting $290 for the part and $1127 for the labor to replace it.

    I opened another case with Ram.

    Hey @RamCares I took my 5th gen 1500 into (Brunswick RAM in Ohio) get recal work on HI stop lamp seal leak issue. It wasn't the seal, but the cracked rear window frame isse. Svc advisor stated it shoudl be under warranty until 85k but but for some reason MY VIN was not uncluded in that. I'm at 71k miles.. Any ideas or thoguhts about what I can do?

    The service advisor specifically said he had repaired other 5th gen rear cracked windows under warranty with less miles than mine, but coudln't pull up my VIN under the warranty. He suggested I reach out to RAM directly. Thank you!
