3.21 gears rule. Period end of story.

The 3.92 group seem to be the ones constantly having to beat their chests about how much better they are To jstwhythey spend on this money on their truck that they never seem to use it’s capabilities. Meanwhile the 3.21 group just does it job. Btw, I haul firewood, trailer my boat, haul dirt/gravel, I fish and yes I go to the grocery store, I go with my wife to help her shop for clothes and even hold her purse from time to time. i even cook and do dishes from time to time, but I smoke meats on my smoker and grill most meals that I can. I drink lite beer and bourbon. I love my wife of 36 years of marriage and our two grown boys.
This is a creative way to say you wish you had 3.92s.

But mostly I wanted to ask, just how much do you think it costs to get the better gears that we'd need to "justify" the expense?

I dunno man, the number of 3.92's posting about 12-14mpg is pretty high and I rolled home from Louisiana getting a lot more than that with under 1K on the odo. 😛

And that's after idling for 10 minutes in a drive thru waiting for my Americano. Thank you, eTorque! 😛
Look what finally started working...

Nice! I have not seen Regeneration pop up on mine. On the second leg of my drive home from Mark Dodge, it also never populated any info at all. From that point on, it's worked fine. I know I had to hit a register button (even though I was already set up with the app on my phone) and it started working after that. It's pseudo-gimmicky, but I think it's fun and I like it. However, it doesn't match the EPA figures on the instrument cluster if I reset it right after I crank up. I'm not sure how accurate any of it is but I'm going off the Eco Score from now on when I quote my numbers. 😛

I also have the ORG and in the Off Road section my Coolant Temps don't always display. I figure I'll ask about it when I go in for the first oil change.

Yeah, I'm going to use those Eco Score numbers, too, especially when the 3.21 crowd starts in on the MPG lol.

I don't know how accurate or useful the data actually is yet, but those numbers look good to me. And out of 3.92s...

I've seen some outlandish numbers too which is going to make this thread extra fun.

Many of you don't realize it, but Patriot Blue paint adds 2mpg, gives you the equivalent of a 4.10, and the payload and towing of a moderately optioned 2500.
A Patriot Blue 1500 with the 5'7" bed also has more cargo capacity than any other color 1500 with a 6'4" bed.
;)

Patriot Blue is the best color. No need to have a discussion there. The discussion needs to be why anyone settled for something else.

Does explain why I'm getting 28+ mpg when these 3.21 slackers are under 20.

I definitely didn't settle for my ceramic(destroyer) gray. Chose that over Patriot Blue for my Built to Serve.
