Just saying it wasn't like you reinvented the wheel or anything. So to call it "pioneering" is a stretch. Could be "thanks to gasgetmason for the tips on removing"Someone’s always gotta have a critical comment when someone has a nice thing to say.

That looks sweet...does it impede your view from inside? Can you share a pic?
What sorcery is this? And more importantly, where do I purchase them?Installed colored lug covers
Yep, mine works every time. The only way it shouldn’t work is if you have tire-jack mode on. Something is wrong with yours. So your statement is not accurate. You said, and I quote, “you can't lower the truck with the running boards deployed. Air ride will, not respond if the running boards are deployed.” That is completely false, with the exception of your defective vehicle. Unless you have one of your Uconnect settings wrong. Tire-jack mode is the only thing that comes to mind that prevents raising / lowering.Mine didn't and doesn't. Opened the door to wake the truck up, no response. Pressed the start button and woke the truck up, no response. As soon as I retracted the running boards and closed the door I hit the entry/exit button on the remote and the truck lowered.
ETA. Read this message in my driveway on the way to the gym. Once I got to the gym I raised the truck deployed the running boards and tried to lower the truck again with the entry exit button on the key fob, no response. Turn the ignition on retracted to running boards turn edition back off and shut the doors and press the entry exit button on the key fob in the truck lowered.
Maybe there's some inconsistencies in the programming of these trucks but mine doesn't lower with the running boards deployed
Definitely worth the effort. Looks great!Installed the OEM chrome tow hooks today. Think it completes the front end look.
My suspension also will not work if a Door is open or the running boards deployed. It is a safety thing.Yep, mine works every time. The only way it shouldn’t work is if you have tire-jack mode on. Thanks brother!Definitely worth the effort. Looks great!

Somewhere on this forum ,a member said when in tight parking spot the raise theirs all the way up and put the running boards out, to help with door dings. Since mine is still in shipping I wouldn't know if it works or not. Does this one look lower or raised?Nor will mine.
I can raise it with a door open but not lower.
I also cannot raise it with the hood open but seems like there's a lot of safety built into it when lowering. Thank you dumb people and lawyers.
Not choosing a side but maybe the issue could be the difference between models or the year of the truck?Somewhere on this forum ,a member said when in tight parking spot the raise theirs all the way up and put the running boards out, to help with door dings. Park that GC in the street!Shoehorned it in the garage. Having a garage that’s only 19’ deep is cruel. Guess I’ll be reorganizing the garage soon.
