@Silent Bob , wondering if you have any more updates on a good contact from Bud Clary? I'm interested in ordering a 2022 and live in Oregon so pretty easy to pick it up there. If they can give me a reasonable price for an order (I'm not trying to minimize in this current market, but would like to do better than my local dealer) I'd be in.

If you want to compare prices - also have Braden at Lithia give you a quote. They are near the Lloyd Center.

I've been working back and forth with Tony at Mark Dodge, who said he talked with Aaron before giving me my quotes - we're looking at either a '22 Classic Tradesman Reg Cab Longbed, or a Quad Cab Std Bed, if the price falls within our budget (preferred by the wife for the occasional times we road trip in the truck vs. her car). And yes, I realize these are 4th-gen trucks, but this thread was highly recommended by someone on the RAM HD section of another forum I haunt.

When I got the quotes back, they appear to be 'double dipping,' as they added an additional charge for SiriusXM, even though the B&P tools says it's included in the Electronics Group package. They also tacked on the Chrome Appearance Group to the Quad Cab quote, even though I did not select that in my B&P and do not want it, as well as an additional charge for off-road tires, which are supposed to be included in the Off-road Package.

He's telling me that their ordering system makes them do this. Is that consistent with what y'all have experienced when ordering a truck? I had high expectations of Mark Dodge based on the positive comments here, but now my 'Spidey Sense' is starting to tingle. The quotes weren't all that great, either, maybe 5% under MSRP / 1% under invoice.

Appreciate any feedback on whether I should push back on this or not. If "that's the way it works, sorry" is the answer, I suppose I can have them change the Chrome Package to the Tradesman Black Package, since I don't want all the bling, and which is $100 less.

I’d certainly take what they say to the bank. I know B and P says you can get Advanced Safety on a Laramie…..but you currently cannot. Can always have another dealer quote you if you want to confirm

This thread has gotten a bit quite with the truck shortage getting worse. I see people getting insane offers for trade in, but no way to replace the truck with anything that could considered a deal. I’m just happy I bought when I did because I have no idea when things are going to settle down.

Yeah have another dealer give you a quote. 99.9% sure you won’t be getting 15%-19% off MSRP in the market now, that boat has sailed

Just an update that I emailed Aaron directly, who responded within an hour with a better quote. Still not 15% off (smile), but enough that if I can get at least $1K in incentives, I'll be 10% below MSRP, which won't hurt the budget too bad. Asked him to change the chrome package to black, which should drop my price another $100.

Waiting to hear back if they will do the Sold Order Consumer Incentive Protection Plan to lock in current incentives, and whether they want to take a look at my 2500 as a trade-in.

On top of dealers charging above invoice (looking at you Koons $3k over and Criswell $5300 over), the 0% for 48 months is now canceled and the MSRP went up $750. The BUG also went up $100 on the limited. Crazy times.

Where do you see the 0% for 48 months cancelled? It’s still on the ram trucks website.

Your incentives will differ based on regional considerations. Some markets have 0%, others 1.9%. Some have a bit of bonus cash and small rebates, some do not.

Please let this post serve as an introduction, thank you and perhaps some reassuring news . . .

I ordered my RAM on 3/1/21 after months of research, shopping and gathering information here, and it just came in last week. Incentives at time of order were $4000 but only $1250 at time of delivery. Despite providing my dealer with the info from this site to lock in the incentives, they didn't do it correctly. They have very few trucks on the lot and had plenty of interest in mine as it sat on display waiting for me to come get it. Despite other offers and having only a "handshake deal" with no deposit, to their credit they honored the dealer discount we agreed to as well as worked with Chrysler to get me $3750 in incentives. At the end of the day:

MSRP: $58,400
Discounted price: $50,974
Doc fee: $699
Title: $27
Incentives: $3750
Net price out the door: $47950
1.99% financing through dealer with alternate lender to match what I could get on my own
No tax in NH (but my registration $ will hurt)

Love my truck, extremely happy with the price and sending big thanks to everyone that contributed to these forums for helping me achieve the goal!

I found it yesterday buried somewhere for 4x2 trucks but here in MD it’s now 2.9% for 72 and no payments for 90 days. Weird as I didn’t think financial offers like that were regional, just the cash back parts.

Damn, that grey with the black accent is sharp.
That would definitely be my combo of colors.

In Los Angeles, the only incentive is 3.3% financing for 60 onths, even on a Big Horn. View attachment 97187
2500 incentives aren't the same as the 1500.

I'm rural Midwest and it's the same as you on the 2500.
