You are in Louisiana and didn't order from Mark Dodge and lock in 0% for 72 with the sold order? You could have saved at least $7000 vs paying MSRP. But if you are happy with the deal and getting the truck now that is all that matters.
I promise you, My plan was to do just that but after getting the truck. Wow. That plan will have to wait a few years. The Dealers know the conditions and have all the power, and aren't getting off there stock. Sometimes you have to compromise.

Nice truck. I'm the fool that did a special order and got....white. I'm second-guessing not going for ivory but I liked the bright white, what can I say? I'll keep an eye out to see if you post pics of your truck so I can regret my poor choices and wait for mine to be built.

I took delivery of mine from Criswell. I think I did all right. Forum, tread lightly and financed through capital one. Then locked in incentives got me way down.

I went through Connor. He was sent to me by one of the guys in the Jeep forum rather than this one. He treated me right as did the finance guy. I had a little better deal with my own financing that would have negated the discount of going with a FCA affiliated finance company. Finance guy (wish I could remember his name) looked around found one that was close and then prompted Capital One for a counter offer. He got me within 2 tenths so I was good with that.

No high pressure upsell of extras. Offered a second time and let it go when I declined. Honestly it was the smoothest easy buying experience I have had. Walked in, signed paperwork, signed financing, checked out the truck and drove off. Will definitely buy there again.

I think I am a day late and a dollar short on getting a good deal. Dealerships near me want MSRP, not willing to pay that. Should've jumped on that deal wagon earlier I guess

There are a handful of dealers across the country that will still give $1500 to $3000 below invoice (not MSRP, invoice) on an order, but can only get 2022 MY now. 0% for 72 still available for a few more days and can be locked in on an order.

But it’s my understanding that you can’t actually order the 22s yet

When will this open up? (Question is not just for you but for others as well)
I saw someone say that Ram internal price negotiations were to be made on the 17th-20th and announcements made about a week later but I’m not sure.
People who have watched the process for years may know that every year the new trucks get announced on XX date? Idk

I'm going by memory, but I want to say it's usually by end of May each year. You can look back through this thread for the model year changes. Order books tend to open by May-June for next model year. Exact dates may vary. I think the changeovers occur in July during summer shut downs.

Last year they didn't start making 2022 MY until late September. But this year the switch should be much earlier.

You think they'd have to have a lot of spare chips lying around to start up next year's productions early...

The High Technology Group was the major addition for 2021. Heads up display and rearward camera ported to the LCD in the rearview mirror. Given current conditions, I doubt you will see anything more technology based. I've heard people talk about a UConnect 5 upgrade? But there are no rumors of this or what features it might have.

I'm guessing maybe new rims selection. That's it.

Why is Mark Dodge in Louisiana telling me that I lose ALL factory incentives except the $500 Chrysler capital incentive if I use the 0% financing program. That's not right, is it?

That is right, at least at this particular moment. On Tuesday, the 0% and other incentives may also be gone.
