I’m guessing you got your deal before Koons dropped their discount to 6% below invoice? I had a deal worked out with Craig myself but I was able to find a local dealer in SEPA to match what Koons was offering me. Of course they took the ridiculous $899 doc fee that Koons has in to the equation and since PA is only $389 they were able to match. Of course it helps I get EP pricing regardless. Hows the power on that ecodiesel? I considered getting that myself but was afraid it wouldn’t have the juice.

Yes. Just before “The Rona” hit..
Im not a power demon, and I love Diesels and their Torque... Almost feels like you can do wheelies with it off the line! Plenty of power for my driving habits.. Averaged 24.5 on the drive home. Tried to baby it as much as I can, fluctuating speeds. Not sure about break in period?..

Wow. So you've been waiting for like 6 months then! Through the plant closures and everything. Enjoy it my friend! 24.5 is great. I hear mixed things about the break in period. Some say its not necessary but why risk it with a $70k truck. My dad bought a hellcat last year and some of the functionality didn't even appear until the car had 500 miles on it. They were grayed out until he hit 500. I'm hoping mine will arrive by October with hopefully some kind of rebate but I'm not holding my breath.

I first ordered my Ram on February 19, 2020. Got VIN and VON a few days later. COVID-19 hit and stopped all builds. On 5.29.2020, I made a change to add the 33 gal tank. When my change was made, my Ram was in D1 Status (all parts present and waiting for gate line scheduling for build); therefore, I am positive you can make a change because I made a change when my Ram was in D1. Now, I will tell you that I believe making the change put my build to the end of the line again, but if a change is what you want, a change can be made.
Did you make your change through your dealer, or through FCA?

Ordered end of March.. Koons was ok.. typical dealership. Didn’t like me so much after turning everything they were trying to push down. “Gimme the keys, and I’m out” lol

Yeah. Did you look into the Ziegler warranties at all? Apparently it’s the FCA factory warranty at like 1/3 of what the dealer tries to up sell. I’m considering.

Agreed. I’ve never gotten an extended warranty myself, Nowadays though the bumper to bumper factory warranties suck. 3yr 36000 is terrible. 60000 power train is terrible, plus these new trucks have a lot of tech that could go wrong. Just considering it.

I have purchased extended warranties from Ziegler several times for my current and previous Jeeps. I can't speak highly enough. And they're 3 times cheaper than going through a dealer unless you get a price match.

Yes. Just have to do the math if it’s worth it or not?..

Contacted Ram Chat, still in JB status. I got a really helpful person this time. I mentioned that it had been in JB for a few weeks now and was curious when I should expect it to move to the next step. She said it had been there a while but is still showing as "on time," but that she would escalate my case and have someone contact me in the next few days with an update. Not sure if that does anything, but at least I had a chat person offer to help for the first time throughout this process, so that was nice.

That’s why I am considering it. You would think they would throw that in on a $70k dollar truck. Since they don’t I may look at the 100k Maximum care plan

Not much math involved here. If you're keeping the truck passed 36K miles, and given a whole lot of things that can go wrong with it, you're better off protecting your investment. Just don't count on the extended warranty covering your diesel engine (diesel engines are covered by another warranty that comes with the truck).

What all did you have that would be added at the body vendor? We have been sitting at JB status for either 3 or 4 weeks at this point. I’m trying to figure out what part is holding us up.....

Bedliner and wheel-to-wheel steps are all that I can think of. I've got ramboxes so maybe that affects the bedliner process?
