So far I have not been able to get anything going in Colorado and I was getting ready to either wait or go out of state, but today (Sunday even) I get an email from a local dealer he will honor employee pricing on his in stock vehicles. Is that still 5% under invoice minus a $200 fee and you can then apply factory incentives? Does the D&H fee still come on to of that?

Yes, I believe you should be able to apply any applicable manufacturer rebates/incentives with employee pricing. The Destination Fee (it's $1695 across the board) should already be included in the Invoice Price that the dealer will use for the employee pricing.

Only way I see this happening is with trade in.

So really it was around $13,500 and I bought mine in the middle of the Covid crap dealer was open for 4 hours a day. So in turn I guess they wanted to sell something.

Well my loan from Chrysler capital says $45603.42
If we’re gonna get to exact numbers on everything, sorry I forgot the extra bit.

I'm assuming that's AFTER trade in?

I had a 19 Laramie and it was a wash they just gave me what was owed on it. So no “trade”

So did you get $13,500 off or $20k?
Something isn't adding up.

As I mentioned, you're doing bad math somewhere.
I'm assuming you were positive on the trade in, and hence the reduction from your current loan on the new vehicle.

No it was a wash, had a crappy % on first truck then I got the 0% with Chrysler. So the truck was like a clean slate. So yes if you take the 13 and change from the 59 and change mine was 45 so no bad math that’s just what it was. My trade was a break even

You said 45 OTD.
Meaning the truck was 41-42K or so PRE-TAX.
That's $17-18K off.

Sorry, don't believe it.
Unless you were able to get the capital cash and every rebate like Artisan Real Estate Agent and Potato Farmer - There was no way you got $17-18K off.

I’m with you I wouldn’t believe it either they did give me discount for being a disabled veteran. But that’s what my loan was for.

45k OTD is a really good deal and I can understand the questions but it doesn't really matter as thats not a deal you could get now.
@HellaHarry , your quote is not bad, I'd like another 2k off but you're only getting that with coupons from the dealer, that's how mine got down.

Thank you. I don't think I have it in me to push it any more. I'm getting a way better deal than the places around me and I couldn't find another truck with this configuration within 700 miles. The 1695 is **** but finance manager basically told me it's a marketing thing that most dealerships in VA do so they have to too.

Have any of you guys bothered with ceramic coatings?

How about bed liners, what's the best one?

That’s a bummer about the $1,695, but you’re still getting a great deal! Congrats!

As far as bed liners, I’ve always liked the BedRug. Not everyone’s cup of tea, but the fact that it’s removable, keeps things from sliding around, and can be easily washed, I’ve had it in all my trucks. Will you be adding any type of bed cover?

I've got the indigo light frost interior, I've ordered Gyeon leather ceramic coating and already have Gyeon Mohs ceramic coating for the exterior.
I'm getting tint Tuesday and will get a quote for PPF. I will need to do some paint correction first because I see small micro scratches in the paint.

I have the factory spray in bed liner but intend to get a Bed Rug full liner. I have one in my 2003 ram and iui ts been great. This bedrug is about 4 years old and the 2nd one. The 1st one lasted about 12-13 years before it wore out.

Just a point of contention...that isn't dealer cost. Invoice has been slowly inflated since 1995 because many savvy shoppers were on to the invoice minus holdback so I cringe when I see people think that's that invoice minus holdback is dealer cost..it's not..not even close. Sounds like you have a good deal though from the numbers you posted.
First time I've seen someone else bring up the inflated Invoice price that means something completely different than it did 20 years ago. We may still have to use that price as a reference point for negotiating, but you know these dealers are printing money if everyone pays 1% below invoice and crap like that. I may be looking for a while, but I'm waiting to get better than 20%. My 2003 still runs great, oh crap, gotta go find some wood, brb

Picked up a Big Horn Crew Cab 4x2 the other day. Not the best deal, but I'm happy. I just wish it had the MFT.

5.7 Hemi eTorque
Night Edition
Level 2
Led Light Group
9 Speakers with Sub
Blind Spot / Crosspath
Trailer Brake Control

MSRP $49855
-$7500 Rebates
-$3000 dealer discount
Total $39355 + TTL

I used to Chrysler Financial for the rebates, 4.9%. The finance manager told me I had to make 4 payments before switching to my credit union at 2.19% 60 months.

Thanks, I'm excited and hope nothing weird happens after I driving 4hours.

So I'm new to trucks and have never heard of bedrug. At first glance, I was like wtf is going on with these guys putting carpet in the back of their pickup truck... 10 min later after watching the videos, I'm thinking, would it be weird if I order one of these before actually owning a truck? Haha great recommendation, thanks.

I am not planning on getting a cover, do you think the bedrug needs one or there are benefits I'm not thinking about? Will it fade from the sun? I plan to park the truck outside in NC so the sun is crazy strong here. To me, it just seems the cover would get in the way.

From what has been said in previous posts, you do not have to wait to refinance regardless of what the dealer tells you. They just want their kickback from jacking up your rate and they don’t get it if you refi before 60 days but it doesn’t affect you.
