Price negotiated from MSRP

Also, not surprised the 2021 trucks aren’t as discounted. I suspect you’ll find that with any dealer. The dealer fees going up feels like a money grab, as does the tread lightly thing Koons is doing.

If folks were content waiting this long for 2021s I suggest you continue to wait. Later this year, closer to year end, things might be different. I don’t think any 2021 models will get more expensive than the pricing this late summer / early fall.
I agree the pricing should come down based on rebates but the percent off from Koons and Criswell has been pretty consistent prior to the pandemic. I get it that the inventory is low because they weren’t building any when the plants shut down but with the unemployment rate so high, who is buying them that they can justify giving less of a discount? Logically thinking there are not as many eligible buyers.

It’s crazy. Sales are down but so is inventory. I think 1st quarter 2021 could be much different, especially if we have another Covid economic shut down.

well, it already looks like that's the direction we are headed. Given that, the supply chain disruptions which would also cause additional delays or low inventory then the questionable build quality of things coming from China, during this, I decided to buy now. Nothing has happened to indicate rebates would turn around soon or at all and given FCA's focus may be on this merger, they may have no interest in big rebates so they appear more profitable on paper

Im also buying now, but I’m questioning if it’s worth it for me to travel down to Virginia from SEPA. I get 5% below invoice regardless of where I buy from with EP pricing. Not sure that 1.5% is worth it. I imagine the doc fess in PA are also less than $899

I was willing to go about 600 miles for the right price but I dont think I'd go 200 miles to save $600. I was willing to drive in order to save thousands and the dealers I was shopping were 3-5K cheaper than Dallas dealers except Meador. My main problem is I had a specific truck build that was only at a few dealers. I don't know if they looked at them, in Feb /March as hard to sale or now, a rare configuration because they weren't moving too much at all here lately

Mine was 45k Laramie level 2, 6’4 bed, off road package. Went to Maryland to get it

Keep Shopping!

If they want to sell you a vehicle at what you want to pay they will, of not just tell them your going to keep looking. Tyson’s Corner, VA (ram) has good deals also a non-haggling price. What you see online is what they offer. I bought my 2017 Scat Pack there very good people. Also Len Stoler in Westminster, MD have good deals you want to deal with Tara, who’s the online sales manager. She even got me a Mopar 6’4 bed cover for $790.00 thrown in for free for my 2020. But whatever you buy make sure e-torque isn’t on it. Just got my truck back after a month in the shop. If your willing to drove a bit you can save. I don’t buy vehicles in PA way overpriced. My scat pack was $16,000 cheaper brand new in Virginia.

I just made a deal with Lustine in VA and driving 4 hours. It's the exact truck I want but I didn't know etorque wasn't good. Are a lot of people having problems with it?

I know.. He has been very good and up front up until this point. As soon as the finance dept has been involved, it got weird. So far all I have is the order sheet that has my trade in there. Don’t have any of the rebates, and don’t even know what my APR rate is?? This is an out of state but also. I’m not trying to take a 5 hour ride there only to find out my monthly is astronomical or something...

I'm kind of in the same boat but bc I can't have them run my credit until tomorrow bc I'm closing on a refi for my home. That said I'm driving 4 hours after I close but if the rate is bad, I'll just go get a new note at the credit union. There aren't any early pre payment penalties.

I'm not sure I did as good as some of the deals you guys share in this thread but I am def in better shape than my local dealership. I just need to get my 1k deposit back.

There's no way you were 45K OTD on a 59K MSRP Truck.
Sorry I don't believe it.

That would mean they gave you nearly 20k off MSRP AKA Over 30% off.
Doesn't happen, you're doing bad math somewhere.

A $9,100 discount plus $4,500 in rebates...I'd say you did pretty good! Especially during these times! (You have to remember the time frame of when some of these other members were purchasing...i.e. pre-Covid).

What is the $1,695 in "Total Financed Aftermarkets"? Sounds like the Destination Fee? If so, make sure they're not double charging you for the destination fee, as it is already included in the MSRP.

Only way I see this happening is with trade in.

Well my loan from Chrysler capital says $45603.42
If we’re gonna get to exact numbers on everything, sorry I forgot the extra bit.

So far I have not been able to get anything going in Colorado and I was getting ready to either wait or go out of state, but today (Sunday even) I get an email from a local dealer he will honor employee pricing on his in stock vehicles. Is that still 5% under invoice minus a $200 fee and you can then apply factory incentives? Does the D&H fee still come on to of that?
