Yeah man, it was killing me. They originally told me my whole dash assembly needed to come out, which i wasn't thrilled about.

Glad they finally have a fix for it. Think they could have figured that out before they shelled out the cash to give me a new truck lol.

Got my Truck back from the dealer today, My whistle sounds was fixed! mine was coming from the lower windshield area when going 60+ MPH, it got worse when turning re circulation on or putting a window down. My noise was high pitched and pretty loud. I'm not sure of the exact details of this fix but im glad its good now. Attached are pics of the work order on what they did to correct it. Hope this helps
Was yours all the time or just during stronger winds? Mine happens, but only when there is a strong wind outside.

Honestly it was all of the time but when the wind shifted it would change the loudness of the whistle.

I Googled the part number of the bolts that your dealer listed and they appear to have many uses. The dealer didn't tell you the exact location of where these went, did they? That would definitely help us in looking to see if ours were missing as well ..

Says they removed the vehicles cowl top cap on the dashboard. I didn't get to see what they did as I picked it up after hours...I'll try to get an answer when I go back for my tonneau cover replacement.

Thank you! We all appreciate the effort! Good luck with the tonneau

Here is a video of mine... turn your volume up all the way to hear it.

Thanks for the video. That one is different from the whistle I had. The description others mentioned of a Morse code type sound is what I’ve experienced. Only during wind and 65+ mph. It’s also stupid loud.

Mine has the "moorse code" noise as well, it goes away when I turn recirculation on. I took the cowl off the lower part of the windshield on the outside and the intake for the hvac system on the passenger side, when this is open (recirculation off) it makes a terrible noise at 73+ mph, as soon as I turn recirculation on it goes away. The only way to get to this unit is to completely remove the dash, it's not accessable from outside the cab in any way. My truck also has a squeeky center armrest and it leaks engine oil and transmission fluid (even after they replaced the front main seal, timing cover gasket, and driveshaft). Are there any lemon law lawyers that would like to help me with this mess?

I did lemon by my self. It is very consumer friendly in Florida and the AG was there for any questions I had.

So I go in for a second attempt with a second service department to fix my noise issue. Since there seem to be many different issues I will refer to mine as the Morse Code Teapot sound that is most definetly NOT a malfunctioning Park Sense. 2019 Ram 1500 Limited, no sunroof. Normal mirrors.
Hope this link works.
I am having the exact same on my brand new 1500 Laramie. Did you manage to get this resolved. I spoke to the dealer and they said they could take it for an inspection but he didnt seem to think it was anything more than crosswind noise. I will remember to mention the Morse code sound. Very good description with morse code teapot, its so annoying! Only seem to hear it at Highway speeds thankfully

For me, RamCares opened a case and thought that they found someone at my local dealer that knew the issue/fix .... but he apparently quit the same day they reached out to him and went to a dealer the next state over (which is closer to his house I was told). My case has since been closed. I'm no closer to a resolution and left to go find this mystery person that I believe is working about 90 min away from me now.

So yeah - I'm super excited about my new Ram!

I am very sorry to hear your sentiments, boomtastic. If you would like to follow up with me via PM, I would be happy to look into this further to determine how to best assist you at this point.

Today i noticed the same problem with my truck, for the first time, so sux!
2019 Big Horn.

I will report this to the dealership next time i go , in a week or so.
(Just afraid that i will hear the usual story ' cannot reproduce').

This is already like 4th thing i had to go in and even have my vehicle in overnight to fix some 'quality control / poor design' issues.

What other issues have you had before? So far I’ve had 3 issues. No one of which I’ve gotten fixed yet.

- Shaking / Vibrating Hood (fixed)
- Condensating headlamps (one is replaced / waiting for 2nd one to be delivered to the dealership)
- squeaking arm rest (fixed)
- some weird sound from time to time (there is a thread about this here on the forum ' intermittent humming noise ') (unable to replicate yet)

Now i am noticing wind noise, however, it was only once today for some time with high wind when driving around 100-120 km/h.

Overall we truly love the vehicle, but, it sux spending a lot of time at the dealership, especially when they cannot replicate the issue...

Anybody had this issue or had it fixed, there is a noticeable wind noise starts at 40 miles and keep increasing with speed on the driver side !
I get the wind noise when there is a strong cross wind. If I'm driving on the highway, I can literally pull the top of the so do/door frame in and the noise goes away. Somehow the window frame is getting sucked out when there is a crosswind.

It's very disappointing. I may look at trying to reset the door jam setting but I still think it's ******** that a new vehicle does this.
