Price negotiated from MSRP

It was about $1100 less than the discount they advertised online when you factored in freight & PDI, air excise taxes, $100 for tank of fuel etc... Peel's advertised price was already better than most other dealers came up with as their best offer.

That’s great unfortunately I’m in Sask, but may be going to T.O. In the fall... kinda wish there was a Canadian pricing price negotiated thread

I have this offer I am considering:

'19 1500 limited 4x4, ram box, etorque, equip group 1, 33 gal tank, trailer brake controller. Black on black.

$69,850 sticker, $55,534 +tag, title, tax.

20.5% off, or $14,316.

I walked out yesterday they said the offer is good through today since they alotted me 6 manufacturer coupons valued at 1,500

Thinking about waiting to see if I can do better.

Looks like a solid deal to me honestly. Wild card is waiting a few more days to see what incentives could be for August.

How does $51k for a Bighorn Crew, 6'4" be, North Edition, with non etorque, non air ride, 3.92, pano, 8.4 and a few other options sound?

Still high? Or a decent deal for right now?

Apparently thata the invoice price, but it's only $4k less than the MSRP of $55k.

Thanks!

Sounds like a very good deal to me. There MIGHT be a little more savings to be had next month, but the questions I would consider are: "Does this truck have all or most of the features you want?" and if so, "How many other trucks, in your relative location, also meet your requirements?"

When I got mine, it just got to the dealership and was the only one within 300 miles that had all my desires...and it was a great deal. I could have waited and possibly saved even more $$, maybe another $1K, but I am confident my truck wouldn't have lasted long during the June feeding frenzy lol. Happy hunting!

Thanks. It's close to what I want but has chrome bumpers instead of body color, and I didn't really want Rambox.

Just following up on my post above. I was previously sitting in the hot seat and walked away from what I think is an already decent deal. End of the month is Wednesday, so we'll see where it goes.

Here's the skinny:
-Big Horn, Crew Cab, 6'4", 4x4
-(Non-Etorque, on-air ride)
-North Edition
-Equip level 2, Pano, 33g tank, LED's, Alpine, 3.92's, and some other minor goodies.

MSRP is $54,805. I got them to start the process at $51,xxx (invoice). Then got an additional $6k in rebates/incentives.

Before TTL, I'm looking at $45,434.

I think that's pretty damn good. Also, considering I custom ordered this setup. Only took 33 days after giving my deposit.

Would say shoot for a higher dealer discount. 12-15% dealer discount should be what your aiming for.. "Invoice" means nothing.. dealerships still make money below invoice, they have other bonuses and back end money from the manufacture.. $6k incentives ain't bad, those are set in stone so cant change that..

Does anyone know the best APR through Chysler Finance in July, for 60 month term? Assuming "Well qualified credit"

Is it 3.9%?

Exactly, lousy rates. 3.99% and almost topping out on my score. Ended up with another lender at 3.11%. Guess we can thank the Fed.

Yup, I shopped around, the rates didn't get much better and FCA offered $500 cashback.

who is the lender with 84 months at 2%? I’ve never seen 84 months that low, ever, and rates are currently up as compared to past few years. In fact when I just looked into it at my credit union, whom is usually close to the lowest, the current rates for 60 months are 2.99% and 3.3% for 72.

Yes I’d be interested in refinancing at that amazing rate too! I’ve never refinanced with an auto loan before. But that rate sounds amazing. Please let us know who the lender is! And thanks for the information.

It's AFL-CIO FCU in Washington DC. It was an easy online process as long as you meet their membership eligibility. Good luck

AFL-CIO FCU. Thank you. I’ll look into that tomorrow. It would be great to save $50+ a month for the next 84 payments.

So looking at their website, their new rates aren’t great. But then on the refinance it says 3% off presented rate? It’s kind of confusing. So the key is refinancing with them then I guess? My credit score is never above 800 so I don’t know what I would qualify for, wonder what their brackets are for that. I may call them and check it out.

Thanks for sharing, that’s good info.
