I've said it before and I'll say it again. If you have the whistle noise, go the lemon law route. It will take a few months but it seems to be the only solution. This is a very winnable case and you can do it without a lawyer.I am under a NDA so can't give much more details but it is well worth your time.

Based on experience in this thread, even if FCA offers a buyback they do not follow their word. You need to have the State AG involved to push them, the longer you wait to do this, the longer you wait for a new truck or resolution.

I had the highway speed / cross wind whistle as well. After leaving my truck with the dealer for over 2 weeks, they identied the front door seals as the problem.

Like others have said, you can feel the seal vibrate when the whistle happens at highway speeds.

I am happy to report that my truck’s whistle issue appears to be fixed for now.

I used about 18” of backer rod

first photo just shows that it’s not causing the door to bulge out any.
2nd and 3rd photo shows the backer rod tucked behind the door weatherstripping.
Last photo just showing how the weatherstripping looks without pulling it back. You can see just sliver of the gray backer rod.
I have wind noise at highways speed too, thanks for posting this. Seems like FCA needs to revise the seal. So far I'm liking my truck, but the wind noise is annoying. I'm heading to the hardware store tomorrow !

Just got a 2020 Limited 1500, drivers side view mirror (towing mirrors) has this wind whistle when above 45 mph. If I hold my finger on the mirror casing or mirror itself, whistle stops. What ya think? Dealer need to replace that mirror? Passenger mirror does not do it.

There are allot of posts about different wind noises here. Mine is the door seals from a cross-wind at Texas highway speeds 75++. Is there an official fix from FCA for this?

Is your noise the tea pot/Morse code sound?

I did the 3/8 backer rod shoved behind the weatherstripping on the door like one user said and it fixed it. Drove it in the rain as well and haven’t had any leaking or anything.
Is this a fix for the tea pot/Morse code noise or a different whistle?

The loaner I have is 2019 5th gen and it does not have any sound. Its really quiet. The only difference is its a 4x2.
I have a 2019 Bighorn 4x2 and have the noise. The dealer has replaced both door front door seals to no effect.

Does anyone else have the whistle at 45mph with a cracked window? I've got the 75mph and or high wind noise, but my whistle starts at 45 mph when I lower any window about 1 inch. Dealership says it is the fresh air vents...no fix available. Ram customer service has no solution either... can't believe that a $70k has this kind of problems...
