Wind noise

anyone have wind noise from drivers side door up top by the corner. I can pull in with my hand and it goes away but if I lean just a tad on the door it has some serious wind noise.

I have the same howling noise and it was disappointing for a 60k vehicle. I'm thinking of taking it back to dealership. Hopefully they can figure out a solution.

Hello guys I just too delivery of my 2019 limited and today I drove it home about 300miles away from the dealer. Well the wind howling was so loud I could hear it over the radio and the road noise. It was a bit disappointing. Anything over 70mph and the noise was more than noticeable it was annoying

I have the same noise. It’s coming from the ac cabin air recirculater . When I’m at highway speed it starts , only when the ac recirculating is on . When I turn it off and get outside air the noise goes away. There must be a seal that isn’t sealing off the outside air completely.
Yes I know exactly what you are referring to. I even hear a change in cabin as if suddenly the wind causes something to come open and air rushes inside.

I have some wind noise also. Seems like its back seat passenger side. Much worse in a cross wind than head or tail wind. Will need to sit in the back seat while someone else is driving to locate source.
Would like to know more about the location of the weather stripping that helped/worked...

Mine is at the top of the drivers side window. Starts at about 68 MPH and peaks about 74 MPH irregardless of wind conditions . I have noticed that it diminishes when I pull in on the drivers door handle. I wonder if adjusting the door latch would fix this ?

Hi all,

I regret to hear of the shared concern that you are experiencing. If you move forward with addressing this with your dealers, please be sure to let us know via private message. I would like to have cases created to have this documented, as well as get you connected with a specialist for extra support while working with your dealers.

Yours sounds like what they describe as the missing bed seal. There is a TSB for it if thats the issue. I have attached the TSB.

I have the same thing. I'm curious too if they can adjust something.

It sounds as if the doors are slightly being pulled away from the body. like when your driving and a giant gust of wind hits you and the pressure sucks the doors out. Its like that but all the time when above like 45-50 mph

Billet15004x4, Thanks for the link. My noise sounds like a jet engine from a long ways away. BTW. My truck is a billet15004x4 also!

No problem, check and see if the seal is there, it's to most common problem when people are hearing noise from the rear passenger door. I really like this billet silver, I think it looks the best on over cast days without direct sunlight.

I got mine fixed I attached some foam Nader the weather sealing and it worked !
I will take a picture later.
It doesn’t look pretty but it works first try I might need to make it look pretty :)
Please explain further.......
