There are reports of sunroof glass breaking without tint on it. Why not the concern about the rest of windows having same issue? It's the same type of glass used for the sunroof as the doors and back window

It may be because the sunroof has the cover panel (sun shade?). Maybe that traps heat in a way that you don't get with those other windows. Plus being hit directly, when the sun is over head.

All I know for sure is that, when I want to pay a professional to do something for me, and they are already doing other work for me, and they advise me against something I'm trying to pay them for, I'm inclined to take their advice. :)

You said 20% everywhere else, but rear windows and back window are 20% from factory. So if you had 20% film out over the factory tint that means they are 5% now. When I had my truck done, that's what I did, to include sunroof to help block some heat coming through that
No I didn’t I said 35% front (front windshield) and 20% everywhere else (all windows besides the sunroof) besides pano. They took my factory tint off the front windows and all back windows to make it all match 20% around besides the front windshield. Sorry if I wasn’t clear about that.

Traded in my 2021 southwest Laramie for a 2023 night edition Laramie. I was $6500 in positive equity after buying the 21 used and having it a year. Sticker was $67k got it for $54k after ttl and additional packages. I get bored quickly. Also had a 19 Laramie. I test drove a GMC but didn’t like it so stuck with my third Ram. Guess I’m on odd numbers so I’ll probably get a 2025.

Just curious. How do you like the Pedal Commander? Did you get it to eliminate the lag on take off?

Finally pulled the trigger on a set of 285/55/22 Toyo AT3’s. They fit great with no modifications. Ride quality even with the E load is still great. Time will tell but very happy with them so far. Thanks to everyone for the feedback and helping to pin down this size!

Drive to Iowa City for an appointment at University of Iowa. Averaged 15.1mpg on the drive there, to include about 50 miles of city driving before I left (trip display showed 11.6mpg when I left my driveway). that is hand calculated fuel mileage. Have not filled up from return trip, but dash is displaying over 16mpg. That is at 75mph for most of the trip, with a stint at 70mph going through Des Moines. And wife drove the last 45 minutes cause I was falling asleep, and she sets cruise at 77mph.

35" tires with a 3/1 lift, and off-road front bumper PXL_20230212_163854168.jpg

Just came back from a 9hr trip yesterday myself and my pentastar was a star! She gave me 20mpg (11.7L/100km) over hilly terrain and ~70mph speeds.😁

I'm very happy to say the least, but still planning on lift and tires in the not so distant future.🤪

Eh, I'm just going to post...

So. Not really what I did, but what I'm about to undid. I bought a new mower with no headlights. So, I'm going to pull off my mini LED bars that I've been using for backup lights and put them on the mower. They're more beam than flood. And look for a flood alternative for the truck.

Oh, I guess I did finish unpacking from the weekend camping trip. Also, picked up another Kuat NV 2.0 double bike rack. Now I don't have to pull the extension off when I don't need 3 or 4 bikes. Now to rearrange the garage walls. Need to mount the new rack and find a home for the newest RTT. Don't want this tent in the storage and full of spiders.

Sorry, not a tint comment. Hate to interject with some reality.
I’m about to take my truck in tomorrow morning for this. We shall see….

After two days of continuous rains, your debacle just caused me to go outside and feel around my headliner.

The rain is forecast to continue into tomorrow morning so another palpation session shall happen as soon as dawn breaks!
