shes coming along rather quickly whens the lift and wheels/tires?Got the windows tinted 35% front windshield 20% everywhere else besides the pano.
Man I’m so excited finally got everything decided on the wheels, tires, and lift! So, I’m hoping to have it done within the next couple of weeks depending on if the wheels are in stock that’s the last thing I have to check. I’m pumped I’ve been going back and forth for about 4 months on the exact setup I wanted to go with and now I’ve got it all locked down just pulling the trigger now.shes coming along rather quickly whens the lift and wheels/tires?
Why did you not do sunroof?Got the windows tinted 35% front windshield 20% everywhere else besides the pano.
When they were doing my sunroof it was already 20% not sure if it came from the factory that way or what but he showed me and it was actually 20% which I was actually surprised tbh. I knew it was dark but I didn’t expect it to be that dark I was thinking 35%. But I was actually thinking about making it a little darker my guy said he’d do it for free later if I wanted because I’m getting my PPF done through them but they are super backed logged in that right now.Why did you not do sunroof?
what is jimmys bsm?Busy day again
Installed Jimmy's BSM harness took all of 15 minutes max.
Installed Infinity Kappa-93ix in rear doors along with Paragoptics leds
Installed what I thought was amber leds in front hood line...... they are orange
Went to install Ebay purchased BSM taillights only to find out I got shipped another defective light I need to file a return for
You said 20% everywhere else, but rear windows and back window are 20% from factory. So if you had 20% film out over the factory tint that means they are 5% now. When I had my truck done, that's what I did, to include sunroof to help block some heat coming through thatWhen they were doing my sunroof it was already 20% not sure if it came from the factory that way or what but he showed me and it was actually 20% which I was actually surprised tbh. There are reports of sunroof glass breaking without tint on it. Why not the concern about the rest of windows having same issue? It's the same type of glass used for the sunroof as the doors and back windowWhen I got my windows tinted, I wanted the pano done, too. But, the installer strongly advised against it. They said putting tint on the sunroof causes the glass to get a lot hotter than it would otherwise. They said that makes it much more likely for the glass to just break. Or something like that.
I did some online searching and found some Internet info that seems to corroborate that. So, I didn't get mine done.
That is incorrect. The sunroof is tempered glass, also called safety glass, hence the thousand pieces when it explodes. Windshield and front doors are laminated glass. Rear doors and rear window are also tempered. There are reports of sunroof glass breaking without tint on it. Why not the concern about the rest of windows having same issue? You tell me I'm incorrect, then go on to say it's tempered glass just like the rear doors and rear window. So which is it? Am I incorrect, or is it the same like you said? That is incorrect. Thanks for the update and that is good to know they don't have to dismantle half the truck.Picked my truck up from dealer after having panoramic sunroof replaced. No glass was harmed in the replacement of the sunroof tracks. Windshield and rear window stayed in the truck, and the glass from factory sunroof was transfered into the new frame. All they had to do was drop hesdlinerz unbolt sunroof frame and pull it out of the truck. Then reverse procedure. Opens and closes smoothly now. The service write says the 2020 model year is first year with this more simple bolt in design. I can not confirm
That looks good! Once they get my sunroof fixed I am having it tintedI had Limo Tint (5%) put on my Pano. Left the rears OEM and did 25% on the front doors. Pretty much a match from front doors to rears.

So once again, I can't be incorrect and correct at the same time. I guess I was just completely wrong because I didn't specify rear doors when I also said rear window. And you only confirmed what I said, by adding one word, at the same time as saying zinwas incorrect. You stated "It's the same type of glass used for the sunroof as the doors and back window". Rear doors, rear window and sunroof are tempered glass. Windshield and front doors are laminated glass.
