There are reports of sunroof glass breaking without tint on it. Why not the concern about the rest of windows having same issue? It's the same type of glass used for the sunroof as the doors and back window
It may be because the sunroof has the cover panel (sun shade?). Maybe that traps heat in a way that you don't get with those other windows. Plus being hit directly, when the sun is over head.
All I know for sure is that, when I want to pay a professional to do something for me, and they are already doing other work for me, and they advise me against something I'm trying to pay them for, I'm inclined to take their advice.
