LED headlights have come a long way. I installed the new Morimoto 2 stroke in my kids car and the beam was dead on identical to the halogens. Didn't have to adjust at all and the output was great. They were pricey though, but way less than the projector retrofit I had planned.


I just installed the diode dynamics xpr 3rd brake light led and the Lasfit cargo leds. Price was rediculous for one 921 bulb, but hot damn, it puts out some light and I know it'll last.

Also made a bed separator out of a 1x10 board, doubled it at the ends, and coated it in bed liner spray. Since this pic, I took it back off and sprayed some wall texture on it and then another coat of bedliner spray. Matches the line x much better. Foam strip at the bottom and sides to reduce rattle and snug up the fit.

I keep debating on if I want to do this on mine 19’ but it looks real nice from the cab view. Which bulbs did you use? How hard was it to adjust?

Ordered the factory LED third brake lamp. Was told 10 business days out as they are coming off back order status in a few days. So now I wait…

Also ordered the hardware needed to install my leveling shocks and suspension parts I acquired from the forum (5160’s w/ ORG springs and rear Rebel Bilstein’s).

Finally ceramic waxed my new Fuel wheels so I will be getting them mounted with new 275/60R20 Pirelli Scorpion AT’s next week.

Windows tinted. Only got the upper window on the front done.tint shop wouldn’t tint the whole front. Wanted clear ceramic . They said to much water can get behind dash and screw electrical/ sensors up. On the newer rams. Sounds like they got hit with repairs or something.

Those are the bulbs I used!
Adjusting them was simple. Just made sure the LEDs were facing out at 9 & 3 o'clock. Aiming them was just a screwdriver to turn the adjustment screw on the back of the headlight housing!

Anybody know of the Tazer DT will activate the integrated brake controller? I just bought a travel trailer. I want to add the brake controller but Ram wants $350 to activate it. The module I can buy is $170 and that’s all it does. For $325 I can get the Tazer DT and it does so much more.

Sounds like a lazy or incompetent tint shop. I just had my windshield replaced and retinted for the second time and shop had no qualms about doing it either time. Shop manager has a Gen 5 ram with full tint so i assume he knows the potential issues but they covered my entire dash and used a microfiber rope on the front inside edge of the windshield to catch water

I'm not sure but AlfaOBD will do it for $100.

The tint shop I plan to use mentioned this as an issue as well. BUT he said he would and could do it but could not discount the price due to the extra precautions/work involved. He is "discounting" all the other tint 15%. If you really want it done someone will do it!

That’s including installation right? It takes less than an hour to flash in dealer installed option upgrades…

Much cheaper is to use AlfaODB. You can do it all for about $100, plus AlfaODB does so much more.

Removed and replaced all chrome pieces around the window, R/R all emblems except grille with black, R/R door handles with black. Removed and power coated Rims and tow hooks. Replaced chrome exhaust tips with black chrome tips. On Monday I take to shop to R/R chrome front and rear bumper, grill and a sport‘s hood that will be color matched to the truck. All oem parts with no plastic dip or vinyl wrap.

Once done I will post the completed updated look.

Could use a chrome bumper now in Atlanta area Georgia

Used some liquid solder trying to fix the rear sliding window defroster connection. Fingers crossed it'll create a good bond and stay attached. Must have gotten tangled up with the loop strap that is behind the drivers side back headrest when I opened the window. Snapped right off. Why would you put a looped strap there? Other than that I washed her and added decal.
