wait what? Hands free cruise control ?.. sign me up for this please. The ACC is cool but the bounce off staying in the lane thing isn't

Finally got the Comma two, installed and setup correctly. I drive a ton of miles. Hands free cruise control is awesome and will see a lot of use. Picked up my new truck on July 16, already has 5k miles on it.

I need more details of this! :)
I enjoy having full self driving in my Tesla, and I really with to have something comparable in RAM.

How much have you spent in $ and hours on making it happen?

Looks good in that spot! $368 ticket? Wow.
Yup. They’ve really cracked down on driver distractions around here. You can’t have your phone in your hand at all. They had a spotter at a red light and pulled me over a block away. I wasn’t even using the phone. Just looked at how many emails I had while I was stopped at a red light.

Window Tinting w/ Lumar Pinnacle on the back windows. Limited comes tinted so we added tint to it which brought us down to about 15%. Drive/passenger window received Lumar Air 80% which is not really detectable but blocks a lot of UV light and keeps some heat down. Total cost was $380. Nothing done to the front window.

https://www.tint-king.com did the work but I wasn't given any discount or asked to take these photos. I just like taking pictures...and paid full price.

Got the bed coated with BULLETLINER today.
Lifetime warranty and super tough. Even got to chill out with a cool pupper dogger named Bullet while it got done. If anyone is in southeastern VA or the northern OBX check out Chad at Coastal Protective Coatings. He did an awesome job!

In order to make this work, your truck will need to have adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist options.

I got the Comma two, dev kit for $1099, (link at bottom) the development vehicle wiring harness for another $200. Then another aprox $40 for some connectors and crimping tool to complete the harness. Making and installing the harness is pretty easy if you understand basic wiring and the use of a crimper. After making the harness, the install took less than an hour. It took about 2 weeks working with some very smart people on the comna Discord to get the unit programmed and talking to the truck, due to the fact mine was the first ecodiesel Ram to have the comma two running, it required some custom programming. Now that the ecodiesel has been fingerprinted, it's a pretty simple process to install the correct software fork. I believe most of the other engine options have already been fingerprinted so they are also an easy install.

35x12.50R18's stock suspension. I have a 2" rough country leveling kit coming next week. Had to remove the factory front splash guards and reshape the front of the wheel liners (currently with zip ties to the front air dam holes that was deleted) I will trim the splash guards and heat gun the front of the liners after the leveling kit comes in. The spare had to be deflated to tuck up underneath then inflated to 10psi. If you don't have a receiver it will fit. Does NOT rub at full lock. Goodyear Wrangler MT/R tires.

Tires on the left are the stock Falken Wildpeak AT3's that came on the truck.

Decided to add red RAM grille decals and finally got around to darkening the skidplate. Used Rustoleum Pro Undercoating, 1 1/2 cans. Very happy with results, good match to bumper/grille. Removed the tow hooks to coat the skidplate and coated them with Rustoleum red peel coat.

Got the truck oil sprayed this morning at Krown.
I never tried the oil spray. I have heard good things about this method though.

I go for the old black coating. I hear a lot of carrying on about it cracking or drying out but I have not experienced this. It has come a long way since the 60's. Hey, black coating matters man!

I do have to laugh a bit. A while back there was a thread where someone had half a drop of oil at the bell housing. Plenty of folks piling on about warranty issues and envisioning all sorts of mayhem from this half drop. I couldn't help but think that the solution to the panic in that case would be to just spray oil and coat the whole underside of the truck. It would certainly be a hair on fire moment! 🚒

I had the under spray done when I got it too. The oil spray is sprayed behind your panels and doors. Help prevent the corrosion where the undercoat doesn't go. They also sprayed underneath my truck. So at least if there is any cracking...oil will be there.
