Installed the westin sportsman x grille guard as a solo project. For anyone interested, here's a tip. A milk crate and air suspension allowed for an easy alignment between the guard and the mounting brackets (helpful when you don't have a second set of hands). Also, the packaging supplies the wrong size washers and the instructions are severally lacking.

Wash twice, clay, polish twice, ceramic coat (Gtechniq Crystal Serum light) & top coat (Gtechniq EXO). 7 hours total.
Didn't get rid of all the orange peel because I'm not confident it's thick enough without burning through it.
Not my Lambo.

Here's a random one for those with Ramboxes. I found an 18" tool tote bag that fits the perfect width and height of the Ramboxes. You can't have it right in the center because of the latch area, but this will work perfect for an on-the-go tool kit etc. Now to throw some real tools in it...

Did you place an insert or something to create a flat floor for it to rest on?

Did the first oil change today at 6500. Oil drain plug location isn’t horrible, could be better. However that filter location is horrible. Even with the ziplock bag trick I made a sizeable mess that took a while to clean. I’ll be looking for a fumoto valve and filter relocation kit come my next oil change. 49982EF7-8434-4024-BAB8-F042CE4FC9D6.jpeg

Same CAI, mishimoto can, oil. I’d say so! I have usually been a mobile one oil guy but this stuff has been spoken of very well and figured I’d give it a shot. I love the K&N filters.

Got my windows tinted 15% all the way around, except for windshield, and changed the mirror caps from chrome to Maximum Steel body color. Next weekend I plan on de-badging some things and changing the hood emblems, grille R A M, and Rams Head on tailgate from chrome black. I also plan on changing the tailgate handle from chrome to body color.

Where did you get your painted mirror caps? What are you doing with the chrome ones?

I got the body colored caps from Avondale on Ebay. I broke one of the tabs on the driver chrome cap and bent another but the passenger side is good. The driver side might be salvageable with some strong & durable super glue. I'm willing to give them up for shipping cost.

There is a bunch of room under the intake to pour oil. Not an issue at all. Get an extended funnel and you’re good to go!

Cool thanks for the pic and confirmation
