What did you do to your Ram today???

On the older engines, The injectors were in front of the valves. So the engine oil vapor would be washed with fuel before passing over the valves. With direct injection engines. There is no fuel washing the intake valves. Only the oil, which builds up, requiring valve cleanings, if you don’t perform valve cleanings you decrease performance. The catch can catches most of the oil vapor coming from your crank reducing the amount of build up on your valve.

If YouTube t”direct injection catch can” there is a lot of info out there. This isn’t a new issue.

Dodge doesn't use direct injection on its gasoline engines. The catch can is still useful to prevent that stuff from getting sucked into the cylinder which burns and xontributes to deposits on the piston. Which leads to hot spots and detonation issues.
 
Washed, waxed and new wheels and tires installed today. Fuel 20” Rebel wheels with Pirelli Scorpion AT 275/60R20 tires. They rubbed the front Mopar mud guards at full lock so I took them off until the next item on the to do list is done. Next up, Bilstein 5160’s upfront and the Mopar UCA’s to level. Just waiting on the needed hardware to come in to have them installed.

Looks great! Can you share the offset of this setup? I know these wheels come in a few options.
 
Washed and detailed the truck. Performed the first drain on the Mishimoto oil catch can after 500 miles and collected about one ounce of fluid.

Wanted to black out my taillight centers. Tried hyper-dipping them multiple times but I just couldn’t get the center reverse light to come out clean because the tape wants to pull the dip. So I bought these carbon fiber tail light caps from Amazon and hyper-dipped them! So easy and looks great since all my other trim is satin black too.

I just bought the pre-cut tinted film off of EBAY and installed it. Did my tail lights, cab / brake light and turn signal lights on the mirrors. Probably took all of 10 minutes total.

You all are doing an awesome job. Much appreciated. Looks like I will be putting in that order for the C3. Truth now, is it that much better than the C2?
I don't have a C2 so I can't tell you if it's better. But from everything I've seen its complete custom hardware, with better cameras, faster processors, better GPS, and more storage. I think the C2 is built on a cell phone platform.

Nice! Mine didn’t have black centers so I needed to do them black. I want to tint my lights but actually leave the clear spots and just tint the red parts. I haven’t found a DIY kit for that unfortunately :/

I won't run a car without them now that I've seen the results over the years. Here's my '19 durango r/t at oil change time.

Which underglow did you use? That spread looks good and I want it to match the factory white lights
I used Korjo from Amazon. It’s really bright and has twice the LEDs as the Govee setup. I bought both. But the solid white comes off a little purple, there are some preset color mixes that get pretty close to the Ram white. The Govee white looked awesome but I couldn’t get them to default to the last color I set up when powered on.

But I’m becoming less of a purist and am enjoying playing with the other colors you can choose from

I just installed the OPT7 60” light bar, wasn’t too bad of a job but doing it under a full south Florida sun was a PITA. Need to buy a house with a garage next time lol.

Tail gate just barely clears the clips and with the Curt 56584 harness the wiring was the easiest part.
