What year is yours? I have nearly decided to postpone paint correction and ceramic due to my monthly payment itself as well as numerous other mods I'm collecting first. I know that it's not mandatory to do that right away, although it's wise to act quickly if you want paint protection film. So just asking for comments on your thoughts on your own timeline.

Are those the newfangled sleeve solder joints I see on Facebook ? You just heat them up and they solder AND shrink? Can you get them locally?
I ordered that same lit of connectors on Amazon. They work great.

No issues. I had to replace that lower grill mesh with an insert from the Diesel 1500, as my Laramie grill is 100% blockage. Everything works exactly as it did from the factory.

I’ve detailed out the process and part numbers in another post on light bars, pods, etc.
Do you have a link to the detailed post? Can't seem to find it under search.

It’s a 2019 but I have only owned for about a month. I actually detail vehicles as a side business so I will be doing the work myself (saves $ but not my back!)
Vehicles often come “new” with swirl marks and minor marring if the dealer washed it or ran through anything but touch less it already will have defects, so I would say timeline isn’t all that important. I have brought back 10+ year old cars to new or better than when they were rolled off the assembly line, with no issue.

You can wait until you have the cash but as always the less beating you can put on your clear coat the better. If you get a good detailer and a quality ceramic coating it will last years if you wash properly (no car washes that touch truck) and you apply top coats of the ceramic every year.
There are some extremely easy to apply coatings these days that you could complete yourself for maintenance touch ups and will save you plenty of $.

Installed the carpeted mats I bought from a fellow forum member, while I soak my salt-encrusted all weather mats. Also installed some liner inserts I bought from Amazon. I think they add some visual interest to the interior without looking gaudy
Can you provide a link for the liners?

I wanted a bit more drop as my wife is short (and pregnant) and we have a kiddo under 10 as well. Much easier for them to climb in.
Pretty sure they go cheaper on eBay, and who knows how long they will last but feel very sturdy with no flex.

I like mine. weren't too expensive, and keeps my wife from having to get a running start to get in. Im almost 300lbs too, and these are really solid. I did add a few spacer washers to get the angle just right, but Im very pleased with them. Just had to be careful in the last ice storm, as they got really slick on the wind facing side (wife's side) and she didn't see the ice until she was on the way up.

Thanks for the link I might try and look into that for my new ram I have on order. I currently have the Tyger steps on mine and like them but think I want to change it with this new truck. I too have a little one (2.5 years and 3 months) that likes the lower access and a vertically challenged wife so i think this will be an option for me.

Installed some rough country rear wheel well liners and washed it since we had a nice sunny day in WA.
