What did you do to your Ram today???

Everyone does. The short beds are just silly. I mean, 6-1/2 ft USED TO BE the short bed! 8 ft was standard. I don't get it. And folks get pissed when you ask them about it. Room enough for 2 bags of mulch and a tray of flowers.

Couldn’t agree more. As others have already observed, the cc 5’7” is already a huge truck, the 6’4” is only 9”’s longer. (Insert joke here!) The only time that extra 9” is a problem is when it’s NOT there.

I insisted on the 6’4” and was asked why by several sales folks. My response was that I planned on using it as a truck. Obviously looks are a personal choice too, but I think the proportions on the cc 6’4” are better looking.

At times it can be a pain to park, but that would have been true with the 5’7” too.

The 6’ bed was a must. I had the 5’ for 3 months(long story) and it drove me nuts I couldn’t close the tailgate with a 6’ ladder in the bed. Plus I think they look more balanced in over all appearance.

Anyone that has tapped the white and tan tracer in the rear door sill for the bedlights tell me how in the world you've got around this plastic around the wiring. I didn't want to take the rear seat out but that seems to be the only answer

The top of the plastic Chanel casing pops off.

Had some Mopar Rebel stepbars/running boards installed and a Line-x spray in bedliner. Along with an alignment to center the steering wheel.

Today I decided to get out the pressure washer and rinse off the filth from a 1,200 mile road trip and week of snow and salt. Granted it was only 28°, but the neighbors are used to seeing me out there in freezing temps and it went in the garage afterwards to thaw back out and dry off.

Yesterday I wrapped the chmsl in some 5% film and added another couple ferrite chokes to the wiring to try and mitigate the interference from the led’s.

How much (link if you have it) and any details on how you got it mounted?

What I got isn't in stock any more but it was the compressor along with several attachments and was able to Dane some money.

As far as the mounting, I had my local shop fabricate a bracket that would hold it. I could not find anything for my truck in the market right now.

I like my short bed - it's narrow, too with the RAMbox. With the tailgate down, it'll fit full sheets of plywood. With the bed extender, I pick up 300+ board feet of 8ft lumber at the local mill.

If you don't need to load an ATV or something like that, it seems big enough to me! 🤷🏼‍♂️

I got my Transfer Case replaced yesterday due to a vibration in 4 Auto at speeds between 35-40 mph. Solved the problem!
Also got my backup camera replaced due to crappy picture.
