I had the dealer remove all decals before purchasw. Mine has some stupid sport decal and the dealers own decal.

The very FIRST decal that comes off all my vehicles is the dealers advertisement sticker! I also remove their license plate frame if they put one on too

They never put a sticker on my truck but the plates are off as soon as I get home. Also tell linex don’t bother putting a sticker on my truck as I’ll rip that off before I leave.

Black lug nuts make all the difference in the look in my opinion.

Simple mod...WeatherTech Bump Step (Amazon for $60 shipped)...thought what the **** Also installed my new eCoated BLACK hitch pin. Now just awaiting my BLACK lug nuts to come after the first of the year to eliminate 100% of my chrome and I think I'm done for a while

Continued the dechroming. Removed the chrome tailgate RAM emblem and replaced it with black. Don't be a dumbass like me. I marred the paint ever so slightly (chipped/scratched?) having a false sense of security using plastic interior trim removal pry tools. In retrospect, I should have applied painters tape around the emblem prior to prying. In my best Chris Farley voice: "Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!" It's just the size of a pinhead, but it shouldn't have happened.

I wasn't about to obsess over paint matching plugs for the front license plate holes, so $2 for black 3/8"Hilllman nylon hole plugs from Lowes are just fine with me.

I also installed the OE parts that enable the bed divider to be used as a bed extender.

Thank you! Ordered both WeatherTech bump step and TomWorks Pin. I already installed deployment bed step but I think it is nice to have this bump step to protect rear bumper.

Finally decided on some running boards. Went with the Ionic 41's after seeing @iLikeRamsnow 's. Aluminum, fairly low key, and easy to install. Love them. Not a fan of toppers, but I recently installed mine out of necessity and I'm really happy with it. Hope to get some wheels / tires / lift going in the near future.

That sucks you nicked the paint, would not have expected plastic trim tools to do that. Where are you purchasing all of your black painted decals? I’d like to do the same but there are a good handful of chrome emblems to replace. Especially having to replace the entire sport hood portion to get a blacked out one.

I've just Googled the part numbers and searched for the best deal. So far, I've ordered mostly from various sellers on eBay.

For the Sport hood bezel, I ordered an overlay decal. If I end up not liking how it looks, I'll just order the bezel.
