What did you do to your Ram today???

Put in a Pedal Commander. Well worth the hype. Trying to figure it which mode I like. My son asked why I have to keep taking off so fast.

Will air still be escape the cab with the vents covered?
Back to the original question, no lol. I had to take the micro fiber towels out of the baffle box. Recirculate was okay but outside air made the doors whistle and my eardrums push in. Fortunately I was able to remove the towels without having to take out the back seats again. Anyone thinking of doing this pressure test your truck before you wrap everything back up

Undecided on whether I like them or not. Already know they need to be modded to get out of the way of the folding mirrors
I had those installed, after a few months the passenger side warped inwards. Replaced them with Mopar ones which i highly recommend. The mopar ones also accommodate the folding mirrors.

So now I'll ask you the same question I asked the previous poster. Does this one sling up on the paint? I've tried several different ones and most want to sling up on the paint. I've tried a light wipe off and letting it dry but I still get little black smears aound the wheel wells and along the rocker panels.
I will say absolutely it does not. It dries into the rubber like clearcoat covers paint. I"ve had some mutli-year treatments, you don't see any cracking, etc. Sure, it gets a little duller as time goes by but the tires have looked good enough I've not retreated the same tires. It says you can easily retreat them, never saw the need - but that was my personal taste. They just never got to look bad as tires typically do. I do hand wash my vehicles (point is a carwash doesn't put stuff on my tires). Had a Kia Optima with a 5+ year run with it and the tires really just looked new at that point (no shine just clean). That was probably about 35k miles wise.

What did you use for your thin blue line, and where did you get it? I bought the Luxe pano overlay and wanted to add the thin blue line either on the outside on top or on the inside where it can be seen. I won't know which until I get the overlay installed.
It’s 1/2 pinstripe tape. Don’t remember where I bought it, but similar stuff is on amazon. Bought a roll years ago, it’s been on several cars and a motorcycle and I probably still have enough to to do a dozen more. Highly recommend!!

Took my truck to dealer today to the run in my paint looked at and driver's door adjusted. They have to send a picture of the run in paint to Ram to be approved for repair. Will adjust door while it's in body shop for paint.

Installed Rough Country 2" N3 struts on my 2WD. Had to get the front up some. Looks great, feels good. Wanted to do it myself but all my shop tools are in storage bc tornado damage took care of last house and last 2019 RAM. $329 struts (Amazon) $329 install & alignment (Louisiana Tire and Lift). Ordered Hellwig 7709 again for this RAM today too, loved it on the last RAM. Price up from $239 to $269 from last to this year. Also installed Lastfit LED cargo/3rd light today. 20200921_095423.jpg20200921_100728.jpg20200921_111041.jpg20200921_172017.jpg20200921_172031.jpg

Worked the crap out of my truck. Drove over 1,000 miles over the toughest hills in California and Arizona in 118 degree weather. Truck was amazing, this is the second trip I've done like this. Trailer is 9,200 lbs. And for you guys that haul trailers, air suspension is a MUST! At least in the back. No squating and the truck handled like a champ. The factory RAM limited air suspension is an absolute dream on these trucks.

Where did you get the Front Bra??

I ride a Santa Cruz Hightower CC XO1. I really love it.

What do you ride?

Installed my emblem overlays From http://www.reflectiveconcepts.com/ . Dark Charcoal Metallic over the chrome matches my Granite Crystal perfectly. Added some bright orange for the tailgate Ram insets, and the Hemi 5.7L on the hood

Edit: Added some pics (yah I know trucks dirty, I just couldn't wait once they showed up in the mail). Washed the emblems and surrounding areas with soapy water first, then cleaned them with rubbing alcohol for prep - almost felt guilty covering up that polished chrome then!IMG_2728.JPGIMG_2729.JPGIMG_2732.JPGIMG_2735.JPG

Zaino Bros Z16 Ultimate Tire Gloss has been my favorite tire dressing I have used. Doesn't leave them wet and glossy, despite the name, just a clean black. Also if applied properly it will not sling off tires
Thanks, I'll give that one a try.
