What did you do to your Ram today???

oh wow, I didn't know that. I'll do that when I get home. No, I just ordered them off Amazon only because the stock ones looked cheesy and one already was breaking.

Absolutely, should be fine with a little anti-seize.

Most OEM decorative caps are plastic for that reason, but do some thread protection and you will be fine :)

Installed the swivel handles and grommets for the Mopar bed extender/cargo divider. On my limited, just pried off the plastic caps at the back of the bed and screwed em in. Still not sure how much to torque em

Today I visited the new rig at the dealer before work.
- verified that the pano drains were secured (yup)
- looked at RAMBOX lids (driver's side warped up on either end - passenger side you have to SLAM to close)
- did not crawl under to see if all the skid plates were there - it was raining (I'll do that tomorrow after it is detailed)
- drove it a couple miles with my salesman to get some fuel and drinks (smoooooth)
- ran through multiple buttons, knobs, aircraft switches (LOL others will get that statement)

-- I still have my main checklist to go through, but so far, so good - just the RAMBOXs are an issue at this point.

I DID notice that - 1/2 the rigs on the lot have blank bed decals, less than that have "4x4" .. mine is the only one that has "SPORT" .. very neat. I kinda wish I did get the 22's but did not like the rims on the color I chose, so maybe aftermarkets.

Don’t slam the ram box lid. The catch/lock doesn’t work that way. If it doesn’t close/latch easily it can be adjusted BUT it should also close just fine if you close the lid down easy and then just apply downward pressure on it. Press down firmly, while it’s in the closed position and it should latch.

Regarding wheels my personal preference is going with 18’s or 20’s and just doing larger tires so that might work out for you just fine. Finding cheap(er) aftermarket wheels, whether they are oem or not, is pretty easy so you should be good there whatever you choose.
