What did you do to your Ram today???

I installed a set of these today to fix my broken sun visor. Simple out with the old screws in with the new. I will remove the tabs that are hanging down.

Installed the 3D printed tailgate badge I made. This is the first attempt. I think I am going to tweak it further. I can currently print in up to 12 colors, but soon to be 16.

Finally upgraded from my Blazer (4 gang) wireless auxiliary panel to an RGB (RA60) Auxbeam (6 gang)

I paired the Auxbeam remote with Flipit3d’s bezel and freaking love how it looks! Overall happy with the mod and will enjoy the added features of strobe, monetary, and constant on.

Clean install! Nice work! I have the 8 gang and I'm already out of available switches lol. I remember debating between the 6 and 8 switch option. I went with the 8 thinking that I would never need that many switches, and sure enough.... I'm out of room!

you might want to relocate that ground to the two grounding points next to the fuse box to body ground it because of that negative terminal sensor or relocate it to the stud on the sensor itself so the truck ecu takes accurate measurement.
but all in all, body grounding is highly recommended and i always body ground instead of grounding to battery.

another note is, it's best to run relays with these type of panels instead of using the panel to provide power and ground to the lights. if it's done already, great, if not, something to consider because... china spec. got customers direct wire to the panel for power and despite fuse and spec on paper saying it's ok in reality that power usage killed the panel.
now whenever i do chinese panel install for customers i always run relays (and charge accordingly) and use the panel as glorified on/ off toggle switch and forego the all other fancy functions. i tell them such is cost for using china spec unless they want to pay me again to fix/ replace it in a few years.

I have gmrs in my truck and decided I also wanted cb. I bought a Radioddity qt80 from Scott's radios and spent some time looking for the right mount, I wanted it to be in the area of my right knee at the map pocket. I went with a Tram 3500 magnet antenna and was a hell of a time getting the swr's down. I had joined a cb forum and was filling them in with everything and happened to mention the wide ribs on the top of our cabs. Someone mentioned that the magnet had to be perfectly flat or the swr's would be out of wack. So I moved the antenna back to just in front of the shark fin, and was able to get the swr's between 1.3-1.5. 20241024_114837.jpg20241024_130903.jpg20241029_111203.jpg20241029_111213.jpg

Took my truck to Vancouver Island for a few days holiday. Took a chance with my summers on going over the Coquihalla high mountain pass. Nice and clear going.
Coming back it was snowing. Plows were out.
Decided to put her winter shoes on today. Might have to do another high mountain pass again Friday.
Averaged roughly 18mpg (13.1 litres per 100) doing 75-80 mph through the mountains.

Revisited the spot where I took some product action shots for RCI skid plates.

... and scraped the fuel tank skid, as usual. I'm the one with least amount of clearance on this trip, but I got more suspension travel than most of the guys making the washboard and whoops a lot more comfortable. You win some you lose some. But that stock PW crested over the hill with enough space to fit my fat butt under. Drooling over that...
Awesome pictures! Sure sounds like a great time with friends! Very nice ride.

Started to upgrade the audio system in the work truck again. Swapped out the Skars for these DS18’s and added sound deadening to the door and door panel. Forgot to get pictures of inside the door. Still have more to do, just need the rest of the parts to come in and need to finish the new sub box.
