What did you do to your Ram today???

Are those readings while you're running or just idling? I find it gets colder when you're running.
The photos were while it was at idle. I also took temps while running and it was slightly cooler, but pretty much same variance between temps with valve open vs valve closed even while driving.

Satan's weather in Florida right now and the truck cools down nicely... always has. No "hack", so I'm guessing the August build date has something to do with it?

My 2020 has always cooled well. I never use max A/C. Just set auto to 70 degrees and get it donuts own think. Keeps it comfortable in the cab without having to adjust it because it gets too cold. Bonus, my sunglasses don't fog up when I get out of truck because I was blasting max A/C for 45 minutes

Auto @ 70° is how we roll most of the time as well.

I would be concerned about coolant settling in the core and not being circulated may cause some issues down the road with settlement or acidic coolant just sitting in the aluminum core is coolant acidic? thoughts?

I hadn't considered that. I suppose it'd be no different than the truck not running for a period of time. I will only have it closed off for about two months up here in the northeast while the peak of the summer temps are here. Now that you mention that though, I will likely just crack the valve open with the engine running a few times this summer to keep things moving along (just in case :D )

I added the TuxMats. I like the coverage they provide, particularly the sidewalls in the front and front edge of the rear. The clips hold it in nice and tight for clean lines. My brother put me onto these and has used them for quite awhile. He says they clean up easier than the Weather Techs.

Put my cuphero liners in. I seen someone here selling a red set and had to have them. Only bad things I have to say is the piece for the upper glove box didn't fit and the tray on the dash would have been nice if it was include. It might fit if you don't have a door? There are extra pieces for other trim levels left over.

We've got these on our CR-V. I have the OEM ones in my Ram and they're good enough but the OEM Honda All Weathers left alot to be desired. We love the tuxmat brand. Nice material and typically just a little bit extra coverage.

I think it was time. LOL

You reminded me I needed to change mine. Today I had the day off (Juneteenth observance)

I still have the OEM filters. A little over 29k miles. Changed the cabin and engine air filters.

And since I had the hood open, I did a battery check with my cheap Amazon BT battery tester. Results are attached. I've been thinking about replacing the OEM battery since it's 3yrs old now. Not sure if I trust the results.

I got them too - with silver piping, pretty cool/cheap and good quality add-on
I gotta go and check, my upper glove box piece fit perfect. yah, ended up with few extra pieces that I can use on my X3.

Swapped in some Rebel style LED taillights with lightly smoked lenses to replace the non-LED OEM ones my truck came with. I am very happy with the results. It was just the change I was looking for. Now I need to do something about the third brake light as it is still incandescent. I am looking for a complete assembly replacement, not just LED bulbs. Not gonna pay for the Mopar ones either, lol. Any suggestions?

Nice. Seems like it was about time like mine :D

Do you have a open hole or a door?

The taillights look nice! I too was looking for LED CHMSL but decided to tint my factory one instead. Along with LED’s that shine bright through it.

I’m happy with the outcome. And it saved some bank for other mods.
