How hard was it replacing the ones in the dash? I would like to swap those. I can hear some distortion coming from those speakers.. I have the h&k audio systemShucks if I add anything more to signature lol, the mods are going to ban me. I have a full SQ systems in my audio room,I’m just trying to get my exterior done before I start tearing into that.
I really like the tint, I know it's 3m but I'm not specifically sure what type. I wanted to go 5% all around but man these state troopers in Texas are hardcore about tint and I don't need reasons to get pulled over. So I went somewhat legal.. (25% fronts is legal I believe)
The polarized lenses on your costas will create the halos lol
What issues did you have with the lomax? I’ve had none.
I had similar until I put in Truxxedo universal tailgate seal. Found on Amazon. Have not been thru heavy rain yet to final test since it &#@%§?¥ snowed 5 inches here yesterday.Woke up this morning after a light rain last night and this is what I see.......this thing absolutely sucks.

I’m not familiar with the lomax but obviously it shouldn’t be doing that. Maybe try calling them and they can go over the install with you so you can get a better seal. I would think there should either be some adjustments you could make and/or using some weather stripping in certain locations to seal the perimeter. You could also try starting a thread specifically for the lomax and posting detailed pics and maybe other members here with the lomax could chime in with their thoughts. Good luck. Frustrating for sure.

How do you like your Truxedo? I’m open to any cover at this point.
It’s really easy and I have pry tools that I’ve used on audio installs in the past. How hard was it replacing the ones in the dash? I would like to swap those. I can hear some distortion coming from those speakers.. I have the h&k audio system
Just wanted to give a little update on this:Brought my truck for the rear brake squeal service bulletin (had the parts ordered for it) and a bad drivers side ball joint (parts ordered too) just to find out they are now changing the upper and lower control arms along with the ball joint and had to take a loaner truck home since they need until tomorrow to fix it.
The loaner is a 2019 RAM 1500 Classic Quad Cab (V6) - man that thing is slow compared to the V8
That is definitely a bummer when the dealership sets the wrong expectation. On the plus side, you have a loaner at least, so you can slam the miles on that puppy. Any long road trips you need to knock out while you have their truck?Just wanted to give a little update on this:
I dropped my 2019 RAM 1500 off Friday (took off of work to do this) to have a ball joint (defective from factory) and rear pads and rotors replaced as per a service bulletin.
It was supposed to be done Friday by 4:30pm - a few hours before that they called me and said it will not be ready until tomorrow (Saturday). I then received a call Saturday that it will not be ready until TUESDAY because they did not order all of the parts correctly for not just the first time but this is the second time they have done this. It costs me $25 in tolls and gas every time I have to go there for their screw ups along with an hour and 15 mins of driving each way.
Along with that they now say they have to replace the upper and lower control arms which I was not told until Friday late afternoon after they already had the truck.
How is a dealerships service center so unorganized where they ordered the wrong parts twice but told me on the phone each time before coming in that they had them? A ball joint and control arms should last atleast 50,000 miles according to all other mechanics I’ve spoken to about this problem.
I have a feeling there is something more wrong with it then they are saying because I cant see them ordering the wrong parts twice when I specifically spoke to the parts department and confirmed what parts they had before driving all that way.
Any thoughts on this?
Ok thanks! I'll look for itIt’s really easy and I have pry tools that I’ve used on audio installs in the past.
I have the Lomax and it's tight as a drum, have never had any water come in anywhere but right around the tailgate and that only going through the high pressure car wash. I have some seals I am going to add around the tailgate as per other posts and that should fix it, just have not gotten to it yet.Woke up this morning after a light rain last night and this is what I see.......this thing absolutely sucks.
1,000 mile road trip unfortunately is in 4 weeks lolThat is definitely a bummer when the dealership sets the wrong expectation. On the plus side, you have a loaner at least, so you can slam the miles on that puppy. Any long road trips you need to knock out while you have their truck?

I was also surprised you had a ding in your rail as I felt mine was packaged very well. But I guess things can happen in shipping, can't really blame Lomax for that.
I got the Inifinity Reference and I think they're OK, but not sure I love them. Wondering if the Kickers or JL would be better. Considering returning them and getting one of the other options. Opinions?
