i have experience with both kings and fox and let me just tell you that you'd be disappointed in kings too since kings ride quality would be identical to fox 2.5 dsc. those race shocks are similar, only major difference is the shim stacks that control the compression and rebound of the piston. And even then the difference between the two are not big enough to make a day and night difference.
also by bushings i'm guessing you mean the eyelet bushings? those are worn items. My king's eyelet bushings were worn after 10K miles and by the time i hit 15k miles the bushings were so worn that the eyelet was free spinning when i took it off. your ride quality issue may be incorrectly set DSC compressors. I have mine set at max low speed and 1 click high speed and on street it's perfect. max everything for offroad and rides like a charm going through desert terrains.
Also king only has mid speed adjusters and not dual speed, so less customization options for you.
I it was around $500 all in. I reused all the parts from my chrome bumper. I'm waiting on my front bumper now. It was about the same price. How much?
Over 1000 miles no rubbing, no level, no ORG.I love the look. Is your truck lifted at all? Does it have the Off Road Package? Level Kit? I have the same color truck and rims. Any rub when turning?
Thanks in advance.
I quit using radar detectors, when they went to lasers. By the time they detect, you have a ticket.Got the Uniden R8 Radar Detector hardwired in today working like a champ if anyone is looking for a BA radar detector then this is the way to go.
I just kept it to 5 over the speed limit and don't worry about it. Last time I used a radar detectorz the only thing it did was let me know I was going to be pulled over. When you are only vehicle on the road and they use instant on.Got the Uniden R8 Radar Detector hardwired in today working like a champ if anyone is looking for a BA radar detector then this is the way to go.
This one has laser detector as well and works REALLY well check it out sometime. Also, I have picked up 7 miles out before.I quit using radar detectors, when they went to lasers. By the time they detect, you have a ticket.
Oh I normally do to but for speed traps and sometimes I get a heavy foot and don’t realize I am speeding so it helps me out around the city.I just kept it to 5 over the speed limit and don't worry about it. They still use KA band radar guns mounted in their vehicles. I keep my radar detector for that reason. Laser detection in a radar detector is useless because they train their beam on your headlight or licence plate. Our radar detectors are usually up in the windshield. Even if it picked up the laser beam, you’re caught.I quit using radar detectors, when they went to lasers. By the time they detect, you have a ticket.
You should check out the Uniden R8 latest update has 3 in front and 3 in back. They still use KA band radar guns mounted in their vehicles. I keep my radar detector for that reason. They only defence is to use laser radar jammers, but they are expensive and you need 3-5 of them for full front end coverage.
Pretty pricy at almost a G-note (CAD) and you still have to buy the jammers! You should check out the Uniden R8 latest update has 3 in front and 3 in back.
Luckily for me I don’t have worry about that anyways it’s never used where I live and states I usually travel through. It pays for itself two tickets and it’s already paid for is the way I look at it but to each their own just my opinion.Pretty pricy at almost a G-note (CAD) and you still have to buy the jammers!
Looking for some feedback when you get a chance to put some miles on themNew SuspensionMaxx and links and ES bushings installed on front sway bar. Old ones out
