What did you do to your Ram today???

Looks good. Now you need some black lug nuts. Here's a link to a post I made about the Amazon lug nuts I bought.
Thanks.

I have those black-colored covers, but I'm not too fond of them. They are difficult to remove, especially the one on the lock lug.

I would consider black lug nuts, but I'm not confident with what I saw except the OEM ones. And those are too much money for nutz.

I guess I should check out the links you provided.

Root beer I know, but not a sarsaparilla, lol. Then in shade it almost looks black.

You must have this issue too... what color do you pick on the apps when you do a drive up pickup order? 🤣 I hate picking "black" but I know if its dark or shaded, they aren't going to find "blue".

Wifey came home from work, and said let's go camping. So, quickly loaded up the truck and drove... halfway down the hill behind the house. One of the perks of living on the edge of the boonies. Thinking about cutting a trail into the woods. IMG_20230106_185626.jpg

Considering it looks like you lose the physical key, depending on what they are made of, they probably are lighter.
physical key slips in the back of it. Just wondering.. I have to carry the key when I go on trail runs and I thought it was cool how heavy it was compared to the Gen4s ... but after a few miles it gets annoying in a pocket.

Probably doesn't work with running shorts, but I keep mine clipped to my belt loop. As you said the fob is to big and heavy to be comfortable in my pocket.

Are these significantly lighter than the OEM one?
It’s a little lighter. Weighed them for reference. The math says it’s 25.4% lighter than OEM. That said, we’re talking about pretty small numbers so I don’t know that it’s noticeable, but you can be the judge of that.

It’s ridiculous how bulky the OEM key fobs are. These days with smaller electronics you would think they could shrink them down considerably. At least half the thickness would even be nice.

I envy you my friend.
No way I can talk “The Queen Of Sheba” into roughing it camping anymore.
I caved to her whims and spoiled her….much to my chagrin.
No lookin back for me now.

A wife who likes to camp, and a convenient place to go - nice!
