What did you do to your Ram today???

I got some new tires to go on my new take-offs to fit under my previously installed level/lift.
Installation is scheduled for Tuesday.

Hankook Dynapro AT2 Xtreme RF12, 295/70r18

I found the tires for a reasonable cost and 10% off.
The wheels were priced reasonably too 😌, but the drive to get them wasn't 😞.

That took me a second to realize the tire wasn’t mounted on the wheel in that picture lol. I was like how the heck do these tires look so huge?! They’re closer to the camera than the wheels that’s how lol

There's a lot going on in this picture. Unfinished projects?
😵‍💫
The Dakota is getting love too though. Blew head gasket and put a hole in #2 piston almost three years ago. Just now getting around to getting all the parts collected to bring it back bigger and better.

Ha!
I tried my best to get the wheel and tire centered.

I'll take post install pics after they're mounted.

I was just verifying the 18" wheel fit.

Visited family. My brother-in-law bought a new 6.2 with the fancy interior. I’m envious of the inside. But the exterior, I’m so glad I went away from gm.

Also, is it custom or only fit certain trims or ORP, etc?

i installed amber Diode Dynamics SSC3 Pro amber fog lights, which I ordered as a kit (including trim/surrounds) from Retro Shop. I didn’t take any night pictures yet, but wow, what a difference!

I just got back from a short test drive, and I’m able to see with just the fogs on. I haven’t aimed them yet, but they are a huge upgrade from stock.

On at least two camping/overlanding trips (one in North Georgia, another in Montana and Wyoming), I found myself in dense fog where I could see a couple of inches in front of me. Headlights were worse than useless, and the stock fog lights weren’t much better. Having brighter, amber fogs would have made these trips much more comfortable (especially in the Rockies, where we were on a high mountain pass).

If you do any camping or hunting, or live in a rural area, these would likely benefit you greatly. I’ll post some night shots soon. Very happy with this upgrade so far.

Diode Dynamics sells these in three brightness levels: Sport, Pro, Max. I have the Pros, which is the mid-brightness. If you have the LEDs, you’ll need the trim/surrounds from Mopar, which Retro Shop offers as an option. If you’ve got halogen headlights/fog lights, use the stock trim pieces.

I put yellow tint on my stock led fogs from lamin-x. Doesn't change the brightness obviously but I prefer it so much more over the stock color. Just leaving the fogs on all the time changes the color temperature of my surroundings when driving at night. Too much white light makes it hard to see in fog and rain as you mentioned. Thanks for sharing. I don't have a particular need for them right now but that's a clean install if I ever decide to upgrade!

Thanks for posting this! Been thinking about doing this on my Limited along with Shift & Grins/Diode Dynamics center light bar,
