What did you do to your Ram today???

Ordered my Matt Black Mopar Running Boards and Factory Bed Step. Running boards in stock and bed step will be in tomorrow. Pretty good pricing from my dealer.

I’m still considering the Mopar hard folding cover. Dealer price is $804 and in stock. Thoughts?

I would suggest looking at the Lomax or one of the other non-Mopar hard covers. If you find one you like, give Luke at Truck Alterations a call. He gave me a great deal on the Lomax as well as a Bedrug.

Does the Lomax open all the way?

Definitely touches the cab, (pretty tight infact). My truck came with these already on, with a February 19 build date. Have to remember to wash well in there.

My build date was 11/28 and came with these from the factory too. Will have ZERO impact on cabin noise.

Got my windows tinted including the windshield and got my tow hooks installed. Now I just need my rear liners, color matched mirror caps, and leveled out and she’ll be as close to done as I want!

Yeah, the side doesn't do much for road noise, it's the underside. Today is good weather for some TLC on the truck. Not going to wash it since it's going to storm this weekend, but I want to check on my AMP PowerSteps vibration issue (possibly touching) and look for the seal. When I'm in the bed of the truck and I look between the cab and bed, I do not see any seal or anything. I do see the metal plate at the bottom I described a few posts back though. When I'm under the truck, I can't see or really work my hand around anywhere either.

My truck build date is February as well.

Its MORE, "What My Ram Did to ME" today- She almost gave me a heart attack..lol

So i am backing into the lot this morning and of course i look at the back up camera and see NOTHING but all of a sudden it hard braked with red message "BRAKE!!" and it hit the brakes (hard i might add) all by itself, and i was like "omg! what'd i hit??!!"... really?! wildflowers?! lol Wish there was a way to adjust their sensitivity like, "High (human) / Medium (garbage cans) Low (parking blocks) & IGNORE (wildflowers) lol

ou can disable it all together in the Uconnect settings. Still beeps but no brakes. That’s what I did.

Now that I have the hard tonneau cover I have my year old Tonneau Pro cover for anyone who might want to save a few pennies.

You have the link to that Flag hitch cover? I like it
Not to hijack but went to am@zon to look and found out the flag is plastic. Found this one which is supposed to be metal, some additional choices.

When people put on their bed covers, some are adding weather seal to the gap on the tailgate. Question: What is everyone using for the weather stripping/seal? It needs to be about an inch thick I think and my Home Depot did not have anything that seemed like it would work all that well. Maybe I do not even need it at all however if you have a link of something you know works well that would be great. Thanks!

Did the Opt7 rear led lightbar last week so I did the Rigid bar on the front, didn't get it wired up as its raining pretty hard.

Mine leaks over the wheel wells with heavy rain. Still cant figure out why. I tested it by pouring water into the rails and watched... nothing leaked.

Does the Lomax open all the way?
Based on pictures I've seen, no (I haven't taken delivery of my truck yet and the Lomax is on the way.) I didn't want to deal with the potential of the open cover rubbing against the back window and on the few occasions I anticipate needing the full bed to be open, the Lomax is reported to be easy to lift off and store (~ 40 pounds.) There are many others though, like the Bak covers, that open up.

1/2 in thick is what you need. Cut to size length wise.

I did the same. What a horrible feature.

I know what you mean. I saw the same size probably. I just doubled them up and it works fine. Give it a try.

I am of the opinion it’s impossible to stop the leaking. I have tons of weather seals .my tailgate is so tight you can barely open it. Still leaks every time it rains.
