What’s your impression? Any difference in sound?

Got is yesterday. Today was great weather so I:
1. Installed BAK Mx4. (Holes were off on the silver attaching plates on the side rails so I had to drill them wider but all is good now.
2. Installed the VLED License plate backup light. Easy!
3. Swapped out third brake light and cab bed lights to LED's
4. Installed Mishomoto oil catch can and drain kit. Very easy, but MAN, putting the HEMI plastic engine cover tool almost as long as the whole install as the clamps were in the way a little.
5. Installed Tazer
enable folding mirrors
NAV in Motion
Played with Lightshow
Disabled Fog Light Dropout on High Beams.
2 others but I forgot

Tried to put in 3W floor mats but the rear mat does not fit due to the fold out added storage tray under the rear seat. But the fronts fit great, even have the button clips to hold them in place.


Still To Do's:
- Make Rambox dividers.
- Get Beach Sticker and Outer Beach Permit Sticker
- Get weatherstrip for the tailgate/Rambox gap.

Ram brand running boards went on today. Very happy with this choice! Wife really likes them as well she can get in the truck so much easier. Got them from local Ram dealer ($495)WeatherTech mud flaps coming soon.

Sounds the same at idle and light throttle. When you get on the throttle it definitely sounds better / louder.

Had the muffler replaced with a Flowmaster 50.

Replaced dash 3.5” speakers with Infinity Harmon’s and all door 6x9’s with Kickers. (No ANC issues. I did find the driver dash 3.5” had polarity reversed and swapped it in the Metra harness. All others were good.) Like many have said here, doesn’t seem to be any logic to just having the one speaker reversed other than a mistake in production.

Next up is a custom sub setup. Seems that’s where I may run into ANC issues but we’ll see. I’m still trying to find a box I like for under the rear seat. Car Toys wants a grand to fab a custom one. Saw another that looks nice with 2 x 10’s but I don’t want the floor storage bins covered up. I’m considering a 4 x 8” from MTI that doesn’t cover up the storage bins.

Anyone have recommendations I’d love to hear ‘em. Thanks!

Finally got around to installing my black ram emblem. It took me a couple weeks to work up the nerve to take the old ones off because I was scared of breaking them. After the first one came off it was super simple to get the other two done.

Installed LEDs for the third brake light and cargo lights. Can anyone tell me if all of my exterior lights are LED now? I have the premium light package

I tweaked the sensor bracket to get the leveled ride height I wanted instead of getting the links.

Can you explain this more? What did you do to tweak them?

I bought wheel to wheel side steps from @W13NY who bought them from @troutspinner who I’m guessing bought them new. Lol. It was well worth the hour drive in the rain. This forum really is connecting Ram owners.
