What did you do to your Ram today???

Finally got around to installing my black ram emblem. It took me a couple weeks to work up the nerve to take the old ones off because I was scared of breaking them. After the first one came off it was super simple to get the other two done.

Any insight in to popping those bad boys off? I was debating plasti-dipping them.

Mellowed out the chrome a little with overlays
Could you post another photo or 2 of the grill overlay from a farther perspective? Curious how it looks with the whole truck in view!

My grill, installed blacked out emblems and installed the color match overlays in the front IMO the all black got lost in the grill the overlays helped make it stand out again

I have to get better pictures in the sunlight

Can you post a link to where you got them. I’ve been looking for the same. Thanks.
They sent me a pair, as I follow them on facebook, and they made an announcement about them... I inquired about them. they will be called EZHolder

I had some film start to peel on the lower driver side bumper.. So that's getting replaced right now..

Also there's another White limited here at Craft Detailing.. Is it anyone from this site? That's 3 New Rams they have taken care that I've seen at this place.

Took it on a road trip for spring break. Drove non-stop (24hrs each way) from Mpls to Phoenix via Denver on the way there and via Kansas on the way home. It was comfortable with the kids and dog. Drove 75-80+ MPH, plus a little road construction here and there. Temps were mostly 30-50F during the trip. Averaged 17.5 mpg on the way there (downhill last 100 miles) and 15.3 mpg on the way home. I now have over 11k miles on the clock. It was the first time I have been able to see my truck when it has been reasonably nice outside. As a result, I found a paint blemish behind the crew cab door and my AC didn't have enough Freon from the factory. Fortunately the dealer in AZ fixed the AC for me.

Hey where did you find the emblems with the overlays? I have a Max Steel grille, so the black should fit nicely right? I am just torn, I want to black it out.

Back to the dealer today, and got %15 back in my pocket from the coupon, this forum is wonderful. Thank you Rampat for letting me know!

Brought the truck into the dealer.

They were able to replicate the brake squeal....ordered parts for it (brake pads and calipers)

But they aren’t sure who’s gonna pay for it

Assembled and installed the Cargo Manager, seems a bit light weight, we'll see if it holds up. Tomorrow install BedRug, add cloths hangers to cap roof. Well that's the plan anyway.

Got the bed sprayed by the local Line-Ex dealer and installed the vent shades Weds I am getting the PPF on the front bumper. Next week I am having the bigger tires (275/60/20 K04s) and installing the Rough Country side steps. I will post pics when it is all done.

Hey I found both on eBay the actual emblems are about $22 right now and the matching paint overlays I found them for $15.
I highly recommend you doing the black and then overlays instead of the chrome and adding the overlays. I liked the all black but then the emblems get lost in the grill so the overlays helped making the truck “pop” again.

Do you have a link? So you do the emblems and then the overlays after?

I used a very thin knife to pry them up. I started at the corner of each letter and worked my way around. With the "A" I had to use a small chunk of bark as a spacer to help keep the top portion pulled out while I worked on pulling out the bottom. Just remember to take it slow.
