What did you do to your Ram today???

Thank you! I love the Hydro Blue as well!

I thought about going GT but decided against it since you can't get the red interior or advanced safety group (auto cruise, surround view camera, etc.) with GT, which IMO is dumb.
You cannot get the red interior but you can definitely get the ASG - have one on the way that is a GT with ASG.

Took mine to tint guy for tint and PPF. Then next door for ceramic.

But just DAMN! PPF guy was prepping and called saying that there were three "HUGE" rock chips on the pass side front bumper! He said he would touch up, before he applied PPF if I could get the paint! Rushed to the closest dealer and got their last Granite touch up pen. (Meant to pick one up at MD but was too excited and forgot!) Rushed back to the PPF joint.

Now in my head "Huge" is about the size of a silver dollar! In reality there were three very small chips in my opinion, I suppose in their line of work they considered them huge. In any event they were right under the tow hook and with touch up no one will ever see them.......but I'll know!! And FWIW I used Track Armor for most but not all of the trip home and don't know if they happened while unprotected or if I missed that spot!

Installed some rear led pods with some DIY brackets I made. Super simple and they cost less than $5 to make with some metal from Menards. Dimensions in the video.

Pods are diode dynamics SSC2’s.

Oh really? Yeah online and any local dealer cannot get those options, I haven't seen a G/T with the ASG package anywhere, not even YouTube haha. I also love the red interior, that was a must for me. But of course G/T gets ventilated seats, ugh, the one thing that would make my truck perfect lol

Yeah check the tracker. They’ve been built with it. And if you go build one online rn, you can do it with the GT pkg and the ASG. It’s almost infuriating. Just bad timing on my part but not something that’s really predictable. I also like the red interior, but I wanted too many of the G/T options so the black won over.

How are you liking the pod lights? Easy to wire and setup?

Sounds like you needed to talk to an officer recruiter, not an enlisted recruiter if you wanted to go in as an officer. Which isn't as easy to do. A&P license doesn't mean anything to military. Base pay for enlisted e-3 and below kind of sucks, but should have been options to help with your student loans. I played recruiter for a few years. Enlisted several kids with college degrees that couldnt find a job in civilian world because they just had a general business or liberal arts degree.
I went enlisted in the Navy after going to college, getting a bachelors. I should have went officer but I had my reasons for joining quick and not waiting around for the officer recruiter. The NAVY paid off my student loans as a substitute for the GI Bill and once I reenlisted, I received my GI Bill back. Got out after 9 years and went straight into government work...good benefits

Yeah, just sounds like the other guy either had a ****ty recruiter, or didn't pay attention to what was being presented. But being that he was going Air Force, the recruiter was probably not even trying. They always have more people trying to join than available jobs, so they can blow off people who take more paperwork to get in

It was right after the financial crisis and they were being over loaded with people joining who couldn’t find employment. They weren’t going to guarantee what I wanted before signing the papers so I didn’t sign.

Is what it is, it worked out better for me in the long run anyway.
