What did you do to your Ram today???

I went to Hardline Customs in Woodstock. First time I’ve gone to them, but their quote was reasonable. I’ll post again when the work is done to say how it went.

I didn’t order the parts through them. The front and rear Fox shocks, and the Icon UCAs, came from Shock Surplus. The springs came from Dobinsons Direct.

I was going have some friends help me with the install, but they got busy and I got impatient. Plus, I’d need to get it aligned after anyway.
Thanks, definitely let us know how they work out. Good luck!

I just changed my wheel and tire order. I ended up ordering Level 8 Slingshot 20x9 10 offset wheels and Yokohama Geolandar AT G015's in LT295/65r20. I also placed an order for a MofoFab 3" front/2"rear leveling kit to accommodate the larger 35's. Hopefully I can have everything installed this weekend and don't have any serious fit issues.

My plan is to bring it to a guy in golfport that I was recommended by a friend of mine in that area. Also considering having him paint my wheels all black like the night edition wheels.

Yikes 😬

Mines not that bad, I'm going to try and wet sand it with 1500 and 2000 then repolish it, if I mess with it at all

Holy crap- either way, that’s expensive to me.
Yep, it is and truthfully overkill for me, but I wanted something adjustable, since I use truck anything from empty on the street to loaded up with a rooftop tent and gear on trails. Admittedly, the trails I’ve been on so far have been relatively tame, but we’re planning a trip in the Rockies this summer, which will be a good opportunity to test this setup out (hopefully with bigger tires by then, but I need to give my wallet a rest for a while).

Can’t wait to get these put on.

Added the wife a wireless charger on the passenger side. Just need to order her a 90* cable for her side.

Dumb question, but, do these transfer data, too? CarPlay/ApplePlay? I am not familiar with this black magic voodoo.:ROFLMAO:

I got my truck back the same day!

Here’s what I had installed today:
  • Fox 2.5 front and rear shocks (833-06-166 and 883-26-079)
  • Icon UCAs
  • Dobinsons rear springs (for 330-550 lb load, to account for my retractable cover, rack, RTT, and other gear)
  • Core 4x4 end links, tier 4
It was getting dark when I got home, so the better photos will have to wait. The only driving I’ve done post-install was the 20-something miles home, so a review will also have to wait.

I should have taken measurements before, but I didn’t (nor did I take after measurements, yet). I’ve still got plenty of rake, and could maybe adjust the front a little higher, but we’ll give it time before I make a decision.

Next step: bigger tires (up from 305/60R18, 32.4x12”). I’m thinking 305/70 (34.8x12”) or 295/70 (34.3x11.6”). But that’s for another day.

P.S. If anyone in the Atlanta area is interested in stock ORP parts (front coilovers, rear shocks, rear springs, UCAs, end links), let me know. They’ve got 7,220 miles on them. I’ll list them soon.

Likewise, if you’re interested in Nitto Terra Grappler G2, 305/60R18, XL rating, let me know. They’ve got about 7K miles on them, too: 3K from my 2019 Ram, and about 4K on my current Ram.

No, you'd need a wireless car play/android auto device as well. Those are just magnetic wireless chargers.

do you have a link for those cell phone holder/chargers?
thanks!
They are the Course Motorsports Magsafe charger mount. Here is a link to them - Course motorsports phone mount

I have one mounted in my RAM as well. I have also ordered the AA Wireless dongle, but may not get it for a couple of months. Once it comes, I will be have Wireless Android Auto in the RAM. NO more plugging in to use all the features, especially Google maps and Google assistant. :)

Anxiously awaiting mine as well. Ordered in October. Hoping for January but this chip shortage has been jacking with their manufacturing.

Show me the pics when you are done! Been wanting to do the same to mine. Did you get upper control arms for the front?

Pics will definitely be posted. I did not get the UCA yet, but I will likely in the near future. I want to see how this rides first. If I hate it, I will have to look into a complete level kit, not just the spacers.

75 degrees in N. Ga today so I decided to take advantage of it and wash the truck.

Adam's Strip wash, Adam's Iron Remover, Pinnacle Clay Bar, Adam's Graphene Spray. I gotta say, this paint has the most imperfections in it I've seen on an FCA product. This is my 3rd vehicle from them. Little strings or something in the clear coat. This paint color doesn't really show scratches or imperfections unless you're up close though so there's that.
Also took off the dealer sticker.

How do you like adam's graphene? I just picked some up to try. Haven't been able to use it yet, though. It was a balmy 15 degrees this morning in Northern Pa.

These do not transfer data, just MagSafe chargers. Todo wireless I bought Carlinkit.

Unfortunately (from what I have found) the Carlinkit does not work for those of us with Android phones. There seem to be VERY few options currently for Android users. AA Wireless seems to one of the only, and likely best, options. However, it is facing some serious backorder issues.

Back on October 3rd I called NHOU to get what I call the Brazilian treatment (undercarriage wax) for my 21 Limited. I was shocked when I was told the first available appointment was December 21st. Wow! Didn't expect them to be that backed up. Anyway, dropped it of for the overnight spa treatment. Picked it up on the 22nd, just in time for a 300 mile drive in the freezing rain. 24hrs later my truck is covered in road salt. Got the truck protected just in time. Thanks, NHOU, I feel much better knowing my truck is protected from this kind of crap.View attachment 114711
Man, I see that and I'm grateful that I have a winter beater in my 2001 Dodge Dakota. It's already terribly rusted, but what's a few more cancers? Runs fine but drips coolant from an unreachable location. Meanwhile, my Ram will stay parked whenever there's salt on the highway. That is evil, evil stuff.
