Got any more photos from further away with those wheels on? Saw them on @CMil527 truck and loved them, but seeing them on your white truck gives me a better idea for what they might look like on mine!
No sir I dont, I can get some over the weekend when I get back to the house. Depending on where you are located we might be able to work out a deal on these ones becoming yours.

Almost midnight and finally finished the sound deadening and got the truck put back together. Can't wait till my morning drive to test it out. Layer of Noico 80 mil butyl, and two layers of noico 157 mil closed cell foam.

Also new back window seems like a much beefier design and the window that opens is super quiet.

See y'all in 4 1/2 hours.

I did something similar and it's a 100% improvement, those idiots at Ram should have done this at the factory. I also filled in the air space with some foam to keep the reverberation at bay from the vents IMG_20210921_163238.jpg

Keep forgetting to check mine. How hard was it accessing the filter? I haven't even looked
Not to difficult, I didn't remove the teather, just pushed in really hard on both sides where the stops are to get it past them and pop off from the bottom where it hinges and you have plenty of access. 5 min job.

Big improvement! Cabin noise is down alot, but also both my factory sub and aftermarket sub output has drastically increased!

I did put some polyfill in the factory sub box and some sound deadening on the back. That thing is the lamest excuse for a subwoofer ever.

After about two months and a ridiculous rainstorm the other day, she finally got a detailed bath. 🤙🏽

Nice! Do you think it would be worth it to do this just to improve the stock sub performance? I might consider doing this.

I'd say so. Sounds better to me.

The polyfill makes the sub think it's in a bigger box than it really is by slowing down sound waves. Folks been using that for years to gain airspace in sealed enclosures. Don't pack it, should be loose like a pillow.

The sound deadening on the sub box reduces vibrations of the cheap plastic box. There's a reason we build boxes out of 3/4" mdf .

The sound deadening throughout the inside of the vehicle cuts down on noise and vibrations that cancel out your music. It has made a huge difference in both road noise and sound quality in mine.... and even helps with the drone/vibrations from the mds/eco.

The only downside to this, is it's a **** ton of work/time to do.

It looks like its a ton of work that's why I wanted you do to it first hahahahaha...But I am getting ready to sound deaden the back of my 20 limited. I wonder is the sub is going to be different or if ram even put any effort into sound deadening the limited lol

Nope, from what I've seen it's just as bare back there in a limited.. Except for maybe the e-tourqe battery... Does that count?

Ok cool thanks for the tips! I’m pretty good with taking stuff apart and putting it back together but I know basically nothing about sound treatment lol
