What did you do to your Ram today???

Gotta call geico I guess. Got a letter from chrysler capital stating that they have no record of me having collision or comprehensive coverage on my ram. On the same policy as my wife's cherokee. No issues there. I can see the coverage in the app and on the site, and I'm definitely paying for it. Weird right?
As a professional who interfaces with business systems, I have uncovered all sorts of errors on pricing, discounts and sales restrictions, etc. When I was in engineering, it was the same -- errors on drawings of all kinds, pricing errors on specials. These can be key entry errors or database coding errors. Then you have software bugs also.

Nothing is perfect, but the important thing is that you have evidence of your coverage that you can use to resolve this with Chrysler Capital.

Passenger side was easy peasy, drivers said needed some negotiation to come out. Ended up cutting the shaft just below the rusted top nut…

Just got back from the alignment shop and starting to compile my fabtech install video…side note…so sore!

Absolutely. And it was pretty easy to resolve... I hope. They gave a 3rd party website on the letter to verify it. Go on the site, put in the reference number, answer a couple questions, and upload a declaration of coverage document. Did it all in about 5 minutes. Just weird out of all the new vehicles I've purchased / leased over the years, I've never heard of this. In today's world, anything is possible I guess.

Finally got my AA Wireless in. Allows me to have Wireless Android Auto. I removed the screen and stuck the module here with some 3M tape if anyone else is interested in getting it out of the way/clean install. So far pretty happy with it, takes 30-40 sec for it to kick on.

When did you order yours? I have no clue how long I still have to wait, but I'm hoping by December

What did my dealer do for my Ram today? Sent this....

Are these sent to every new Ram owner? I've been thinking of buying one...glad I procrastinated.

I received the same thing for my truck, which I find odd as I've bought 3 different vehicles from them and never have I received touch up paint for one of my vehicles.

Nope... dammit. 🙃

Back in '97 when we bought a new Thunderbird, the salesman sent us a hand signed Christmas card every year with assorted coupons and swag, even when he changed dealerships. He knew his product very well and it wasn't the only vehicle we bought from him. Stopped getting them about 3 years ago and found out last year that he had passed. Helluva salesman.

Is that 3m carbon vinyl wrap around your ignition and above the glove box?

Hey guys, I have what appears to be a unique problem. I was hoping to install the Bakflip MX4 on a 2020 Limited with Rambox. My installer is saying that I have to purchase different rails from Mopar. I have looked at ~ 500 posts covering the topic of the Bakflip and I have not seen this issue. I'll add pics later, but the rails are the black rails with sliding tie downs. The Bakflip instructions don't specify the need for different rails either. Has anyone encountered this? BTW, the only thing I have noticed is that the rails sit high on the bed.
I had to buy the other rails for mine also... I put in a Retrax Pro MX.

I purchased a micro switch panel off Amazon. It was to large to fit in the empty CD slot in my console. I took it to a local engraving company that made me a new laser cut faceplate that allowed me to squeeze in five of the six rockers in the new panel. So far, I’m only using three of the five rocker switches but when I add the others I can have the faceplate labeled. Then I found at night I had problems locating the switches without taking my eyes off the road way to long, so I added a couple of small accents lights above the panel console that are lit whenever the accessories are on. It also matches the interior floor lighting.
