That’s toughSooooo I did not see in the instructions I received that you kept the OEM guards on. When I had weather techs on my 2013, you took them off. So I did the same to mine. It makes sense why there is a gap indent in the plastic. I threw out the OEM guards. FML
In a previous post, I ranted about the poor quality of the WeatherTech floor covers...I stand by that review--not up to WeatherTech standards.
However, I installed their mud-flaps this week, and am pleased with the product. For approximately $85 (w/tax), the four flaps fit great, were easy to install and work well. I live on a dirt/gravel road, and the difference is night and day.
Installation could not be easier (three screws for each front flap, four for the rears). The flaps are available for front or rear, fender flare and non-fender flare models.

I have a set coming in this afternoon. I will post if they came with the protective film. My order confirmation didn't mention it, but their website did when I ordered them on Tuesday.
Exactly right. They were on my front porch when went home for lunch. PPF includedThere are TWO sets of instructions in the box. One for installing the flaps and the other (with the inserts in the bag) for the PPF.
Now these are the best looking to me thus farperfect match/precise fit/factory look ✔

I agreeYes, they do look nice IF you have black matt finish fender flairs. If your FF are body colored, they look like $hit!
