I ordered “no-flare” mud flaps, and I am only realizing now that I should’ve ordered “flare” mud flaps. Am I correct?
You are correct. You need the flair set. It happens. Depending on where you bought them, should be able to exchange.

Super confused, I ordered the 'w/flare' flaps and the fronts appear to line up, but the rears are way off. If I line up the bottom bolts, the top one is still completely exposed (ie, the flap does up extent up enough to reach the top bolt)

Are WeatherTech part numbers 120092 (rear) & 110092 (front) correct?

Those are the correct pt#'s. It's possible they got boxed wrong. On the rear, all 4 holes should line up.

If that's not the case, contact vendor and see if they will exchange.

I got my WTs installed today. Also highly recommend them along as others have on this thread. I used some RTV silicone on contact points on the paint. Took about 30 minutes with the install.

I think they look good too, and I'm sure they fit about as close to the WTs. Just me, I didn't like the Ram logo but you definitely can't go wrong I think either way, in terms of fit.

Could someone post pictures of the non flare versions installed? Maybe some pictures of the Mopar versions installed also for a comparison.

Do the Mopar require drilling?

For those who have installed the weather tech flaps: I'm doing mine tomorrow, but my question is - Are you using the 3M paint protectant tape or anything like that on the body of the truck so these don't scuff up the paint over time or are the contact points not necessarily painted areas?

where is everyone purchasing these and are any deals around?

I can't find any on Amazon yet and direct to weathertech requires to pay full price, plus shipping, unless you order two or more items.

I'm sure many local truck/auto accessory retailers in your area would carry them.

I purchased mine locally at Radco here in MN. https://radco.com/

They were about 80-ish out the door I think. 10.00 off regular price + tax

The new weathertechs don't wrap around onto the paint like my old huskyliner ones so I didn't use any PPF.

I just ordered a pair from Jegs. $30 per pair plus shipping. Best price I could find.

Well finally got a day where it wasn’t -30 degrees in MN and I could wash my truck and throw these flaps on.

They went on pretty easy and look good. I have a big horn so these are the non-flare versions.

One thing that concerned me is when I removed the trim hardware and pulled back the plastic trim pieces that you install the flaps over to clean there was a small amount of sand, salt, debris back behind those that was very difficult to fully clean since those pieces had some additional white plastic attachment points underneath the truck.

On the driver side rear the bolts actually came out of the fender covered in debris. Not too surprising being I’ve been driving a month now in Minnesota winter without mudflaps, but I’m sure debris will continue to accumulate under those trim pieces even with the flaps on. Oh well.

Here’s some photos of the sand and other crap underneath the trim.
