Hi, I am wondering if anyone is having water leaking into the cabs of their 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab 5.7 Hemi? We purchased our truck about two weeks ago and we had a really bad rain storm here and the next morning I go to into my truck and the entire floor board is soaking wet front drivers side was the worst but I continued to check the entire truck and it was wet all the way around on the floor around the doors mainly but the entire floor is soaked. Has this happened to anyone else. We purchased our truck in Baton Rouge la.

We need some details on what you have. Do you have the pano sunroof??

@Joyce 67,

We are sorry to hear that this happened! Have you visited your servicing Ram dealer for this? Please let us know if you are in need of assistance while your Ram is in service.

I had a leak in my rear window. took 5 weeks to get a new window replaced. Factory window was missing approx. 8 inches of sealant.

What's the build date of your truck? I've seen the same issue in reading a few threads, nearly identical "missing x inches of sealant around the rear window"

Same with my 2019 Rebel. 2nd time in for the same repair. Front drivers side floor soaked after a heavy rain storm drive

I just purchased a new Ram Rebel about 3 weeks ago. Less than 1000 miles on it right now. Driving in the rain today and water began to POUR through the overhead console & got the touch screen & electronics wet! I DO NOT have a sun roof! Anyone else have this issue? Water leaks seem to be an issue now that I’m searching!!! See video of the water leak below that I uploaded to YouTube

This just happened to me but I can’t always re-create it in all rain situations. Did you get an answer? I thought it was my windshield installation by safeties but they water checked it and said they find no issues with warranty. They think it could be a bad sealant somewhere, maybe drain ridges in side roof or antenna. I’m sooooo done taking in my ram. Between the brake issue, my sticking door handle issue, this leak issue, and just bad luck I have had with this truck I am just done. I will never....ever by another one.

Safe lite not safeties

Safe lite not safeties

I won't use safe lite again myself .. I used them because they came to my place of work to install it so I didn't have to take vacation time and wait.

They broke the inner passenger pillar, they forgot to transfer my (paid) garage RFI decal over (but transferred over my NLEOMF decal - I have a million of those), and I had nasty wind noise after as well.

So, my new limited has leaked twice in that same exact spot. I have the pano sunroof so I thought it was likely that. Now today the dealer finally found a smoking gun. They found there was about an inch gap in the bead of sealant around the windshield. They are going to have to replace the windshield so it’s going to be next week before we know for sure but what they found makes a lot of sense given the symptoms. I thought I’d share in hopes maybe it helps you out some.

I bought my 2019 1500 Black Out Edition Quad Cab in Oct 2018. My truck was manufactured in June 2018. I noticed stains on the headliner that kept getting worse then the water started pouring in on the passenger rear above the back glass about 2 weeks ago. I just took the truck in this morning. Dealer says they had to reseal the roof panel seam on the right rear side.

Update: I picked up my truck from the dealer after work today and it rained around 6:30. Stopped in a parking lot and sure enough, it's still leaking!!

Update 11/2/19: I took my truck back to the dealer on Thurs, 10/31/19.

Update 11/2/19: I have a dashcam and I watched the video from Thurs, 10/24/19 of the "leak guy" (3rd party contractor contracted by the dealer) performing the "repair". It took all of 5 minutes from the time he grabbed his RTV gun and soaked a towel with solvent to the time he returned the RTV gun to his toolbox. No leak detection, no effort whatsoever to attempt to determine what was wrong. I complained to FCA about the dealer doing a ****-poor job of "repairing" the leak. I took my truck back to the dealer on Thurs, 10/31/19. After the dealer was contacted by FCA to actually resolve the complaint, the dealer had a glass company pull the back glass and reseal it properly. Took the truck through the car wash and WOW, it doesn't leak anymore. It's amazing what can be accomplished when you do your damned job.

Hi, Picked up my 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad cab on Thursday. Friday it sat all day and on Saturday I went to place floor mats on driver side and passenger side. There was quite an abundance of water on both sides, I actually picked it up with a paper towel. It did not smell of glycol. It rained here in Windsor, Ontario for the past two days so I blame it on rain. The truck does not have 50 kilometers on it and has to go back to the dealer. I have stayed true to Chrysler/Dodge being a retired management employee but I can't understand how this unit got past the water test at the plant. Don't know what more to say but I am totally disappointed with this truck.
