Watches

No love for Tissot?
I got my first real watch, (Tissot PR100) after calling off a wedding and finding that the jeweller would only give me credit and not a refund.
That was almost 30yrs ago now and I still have it, just never wear it other than special occasions.
Picked up a Seiko Sportura SNA595P2 for work and play but I can't remember the last time I wore either.

I’d love to see a picture of the Tissot

My wife just texted pics and it turns out I was off on two critical details. It’s a PR100 and it is not Titanium.

It also has a rose or salmon dial which is rare in the men’s watch.

Looks great for a 30 yr old watch though.

Wow, that’s incredible. Looks pretty much like new

My $15 Casio with a scratched face and paint on it tells great time....even has a date on it.....I bet it will worth some serious bucks somewhere down the line! Maybe I'll put it in the will? (y):)

Custom crown and stem
Double domed sapphire crystal
New coin-edge bezel with modified Clark’s insert

Another picture of my custom Seiko. After I posted the one the other day, I’ve been getting into wearing it a lot more lately. This one shows the double domed sapphire crystal and the inset bezel insert pretty well.

Nope. I have a really cool phone with a built in clock.
A friend of mine once said " I dont wear a Rolex to know what time it is, I wear a Rolex so everyone else knows what time it is." I always liked that. A watch is jewelry that happens to keep time. Some people like that some dont. Telling time is the least of the functions of wearing a nice watch.

Apple Watch 7 45mm. Pretty common place but works for me. Also have a Suunto Ambit 2 I use when deploying.
