Anyone else here like watches?

This is my Breitling SuperOcean I picked up back in March.

Lets see what everyone else is wearing!

Always wanted a Rolex GMT but no way I was going to spend that kind of money on a watch when I had three kids in college. Found the Steinhart GMT and ordered from Germany. Got it delivered with ceramic bezel for just under $400 at the time and absolutely love it. It's heavy, gains .5 seconds per month, and I love the fully automatic Swiss mechanism.

I regularly get asked if it's a Rolex and I proudly say no and that it cost 7% of what a Rolex does. Not to mention it was cheaper than your Apple watch, I never take it off, and I've even scratched it - and didn't cry when it happened.

I was the same way, except I wanted the Rolex Explorer II. No kids but still couldn’t wrap my head around spending that much money on a watch.

You guys have some nice pieces. When I’m done with school I hope I can get some more impressive horological additions. For the time being, I’m pretty happy with my Citizens for daily wear.

This is my Citizen Titanium PCAT. It’s pretty much my ideal daily watch. Lightweight titanium, sapphire crystal, solar powered, nightly atomic clock time and date sync. I never have to fiddle with the date and the time never has a chance to fall out of sync. In my opinion, the subtle complications give it a striking visual appeal without being too gaudy and over the top to wear with semi-formal or business attire. Plus one of my favorite features is the ability to change time zones with a couple clicks and a turn.

I have a couple of Casio G-shocks......great watches. You can beat the heck out of them and not hurt them. Both watches have the tide/moon function......I do a lot of kayaking and fishing....the tide function is great. One of the watches is a grey color....the other is red. I have had many people compliment the red watch....more than any watch I've ever owned.
