USB and CarPlay doesn’t work when hot outside.

By middle plug, do you mean the middle usb port or do some of you have an aux port back there? Here’s what mine looks like.

Mines the same way. I just left out the middle USB port. I've plugged in my phone to both USB ports and both USB-C and it works on all of them.

It must connect to the rear Media hub because mine doesn't work now.

Got a 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie and it's happened me again today in 90F weather. Plugged into USB console, my phone shows it's charging (indicating USB console works) but Android Auto won't work. 30 mins into drive Android Auto starts working. Bizarre
The guy in
replaced his USB hub with no luck.
